Default RM steady
Is this a new style for the Spring line?
I just saw the Steady bag on Rebeccaminkoff.com and I so love it!
What colours does it come in? Can I pre-order?

I saw it is for sell on ShopBop.com. Also, it is pre-order at Decina.com. It looks like a nice bag. But I am wondering how long is the shoulder strap. I am hoping that I can wear the bag cross body somehow. If anyone has one, could you please share your thoughts?

Thanks,

Also, it's coming in more colors than is out right now. It'll be available in Sterling, Midnight, and a few others. The best bet is to call Luna Boston and try to pre-order with them. They have a code for 20% off, too.

Delcina and Shop Jake also have it for pre-order in Stone/Tangerine and Midnight, and Delcina also has it in Ocean. I would love to see if it can go crossbody as well!

I preordered the dusty/sterling one from label360 and was able to use a 25% off code. I can't wait until it comes in.

I'm loving the dusty/sterling one that is on the website! Do you think that the handle straps are big enough to put the bag over your shoulder? Its so adorable!

They look big enough! But I am not sure. Good question.

Did we ever find out what kind of top closure this bag has? I have yet to see one in person but the one on the site looks gorgeous. I just have to make sure it has a good top closure....

Hitchcock blonde - I know the top closes by with a couple of flaps that fold together and are held together by magnetic snaps. Not sure if there is a zipper closure as well. Hopefully its not going to make the bag a pain to get into.

Default Some information on the Steady
I just wanted to let people know that I got the Steady from LB and for a somewhat short person (I'm 5'4") it was not very easy to use. I like the idea of the magnetic strap but the opening is very wide and very stiff! It was hard to put it under my arm when I had the strap over my shoulder. The bag in general is also very stiff (there's no smoosh-factor) so that when I carried the bag cross-body the bag didn't hug my body. It looked a bit like a structured brief case hanging from my shoulder. I got the Steady in Night, and I have to say the leather was absolutely wonderful (the best leather ever-- even better than some of the Balenciagas I have!). So I went ahead and returned the Steady and got the MAM in night with the gold bottom!

Anyways I will post modeling pics tmr night when I get a chance! Just wanted to let all those who were thinking about the Steady know!

Aww, I am sorry you didn't like your steady. I had that same concern about the bag feeling awk when using the strap. Thats a bit dissapointing. I hope you like your MAM w/ gold bottom! I am dying for one of them but I can't quite justify the money to buy it yet. I am self banned for quite a while. Let me know how the gold bottom holds up.

Default Questions on the RM Steady
So I am contemplating an RM steady. I know there is a new black one for sale on ebay from a great seller. But there is also the big Bloomies sale right now and they have the dusty silverspot which I also love (this would be a little more money). Which color do you all like better in the steady?

Also do you think I should try to hold out for the RM sample sale and try to score a steady then?

And finally...I love the look of Bbags but they are out of my budget. Do you think the steady will provide a similar look to the city tote or firsts?

I really value everyone's opinions and your feedback would be so helpful!!!!

Thanks Everyone!!!

So I am thinking more about it and I think if I get this bag I am leaning more towards black. I still want everyone's opinions but I think it will look a little classier. But the dusty silverspot is still gorgeous!!!
