Have you ever tried one on? The top flaps are hard and like 3 inches wide when you use it (If you use the handles not the strap) on your shoulder it could bother you. It was digging into me so I didn't buy it. BTW it was the Dusty Rose and I didn't like it. I would much prefer a MAM which fits perfectly bet your arm and body.

No I never tried it on. But I read some very good reviews about it. But if I decide to go with the black steady on ebay, I won't be able to return.

I would probably use the short handles and hold it in my hand or in the crease of my elbow. I would use the long strap if I put it on my shoulder...

So I went with the dusty silverspot afterall. I figured at least I can return it since it is from Bloomies. If I went with the one on ebay and hated it then I would be stuck or be forced to sell. I will let you all know how I feel about it when it comes next week!

I'd like to know if the long strap can be worn crossbody. I'd really like a light colored xbody bag for summer. Maybe sterling or stone.

The modeling pictures by hautechick1 show it being worn cross-body. But the model is very slender and it sits kinda high. I don't know if cross-body would work for everyone. I don't think it'd be comfortable for me.

I agree. I don't think I would wear it crossbody either but I think I would use the long strap but just on one shoulder.

Yeah, it looks like the strap's too short and the bag too boxy for it to be comfortable. DAMN.

I am actually having 2nd thoughts on the dusty color now. I just think it looks so pretty on the luna boston site. Nicer than the black. But there is something about the black that reminds me a little of Bbags (that I cannot afford). Not sure if I should cancel my order and go with the black on ebay. Ulgh! Decisions!!! Anyone have any thoughts?

^^ IMO the steady doesn't appear to be selling as highly as I expected it when it was first launched. I have a feeling since there are so many of them floating around, they may wind up at the sample sale. (not sure, just an assumption) which will make the black easier to get.

I think the sterling steady is TDF! But i'm glad i got my night/gold crackle! FINALLY... that was my 2nd...third...or damn lost count RM HG bag... HAHAHA

^^ooh yea I can't remember which thread was started but a lovely TPFer did take a pic of the Bal city, and Steady side by side for comparison... i'll try and find the thread, but still do a search for "steady" and see what you can find.

Thank you Desi! I appreciate that! I actually cancelled my Bloomies order! But maybe when I find the pics of the Bbag and RM steady next to each other it will help me decide! If I find the thread I will post it in this thread just in case anyone else needs the reference!
