I do have an idea in how to minimize all of your pm's... Remember it's just an idea so you can totally shoot me down! How about creating an email just for RAOK? You can choose the provider as they all provide free email now-a-days. Like say RMRAOK@gmail.com, or RMRAOK@yahoo.com etc. and so forth?

That is a great idea Dee!! I wish I would have thought of that sooner. I know we are not suppose to post our contact info on the boards but perhaps once I set one up I can pm you all w/ the email addy. I will do that now and get it set up and in the mean time feel free to pm me.

^^ I did not know that so thanks for the update. I know some of our boardies are very busy w/ school and that may explain a lack of posting.

First off I would like to thank Bellabird, painted and dee for their great suggestions which I have took to heart and am incorporating into our RAOK to make it run smoother.
Also a HUGE thank you to twiggers for her help in letting me use her guidelines (she runs the Bal, LV, and Hermes Raok's) and for answering all my questions.
Alright, here goes.
This will be our rules so that everyone is on the same page and knows what guidelines to follow.
1. Minimum 250 posts or 1.0 post per 2 days (want people to be regulars) We started the RAOK as a new board and so many members with less than 250 posts were included (myself as one). For the next season of Raok (July, Aug., Sept.) we will be increasing the number of posts to participate to 500. This will give the new Minkettes time to get their posts up.
2. Regular contributor to respective subforum - ie; only sign up if you are a regular RM boardie please.
3. Must have posted a photo within last 30 days (please make sure you review Vlads how to post pics thread and make sure your camera works. It can be a cell, camera, whatever gets your pic on the pf) You can post pics on any of the threads that are fitting and a great one is the "your RM bags in action" Pics do not have to be of your bags, we have tons of unique threads and you can pick one that works best for you.
4. A set amount for each gift. Right now we have a price limit of $25 per gift (per month I mean). You're allowed to go over that amount once. That is not a minimum, but they should use their judgment for what the minimum should be.
5. Gifts MUST be sent out by the 21st if sending internationally, and the 25tht if sending within your country.
6. MUST PM me at rmraok@comcast.net with the delivery confirmation/tracking number. This is so that I can make sure everyone gets and sends their pressies and so that if their are delivery issues I can work on them for you.
7. Upon receipt of gift, photos must be posted within 3 days. This is so that we know everyone is participating.
Thank you all for your patience and I am hoping this makes our Raok's run more smoothly. If anyone has any ideas of things to add please feel free to let me know.
Also, if you have not received a pressies by now please let me know. You can email me at the rmraok email or pm me.
Please wait to send your buddies gift out until after this weekend if sending them early so that I can have time to weed out the people who did not participate and re-match those who need new buddies.
Also, if anyone would like to be an "angel" (which means if someone does not get a gift you could send one) please let me know. I have had a few volunteers and I think that having a few back up angels will help guarantee everyone gets a pressie.

^^Tater, thanks again for doing this, and not to cause problems, but there are a few things with the new rules that would prevent me from participating again.

I am somewhat active and have been more so in the last couple weeks, but my total posts is still in the low 300s. I use to just read posts and not write as many as I was becoming more familiar with TPF and the sub forum. I am not sure if I will meet the 500 post min by the next sign up time.

Second, I live in a non-doorman building and send all my packages to the BF because it is safer and easier (he has great doormen). So I do not pick up packages until the weekend. If a package is delivered to me on Mon or Tues I would not post until the weekend.

Otherwise I fully agree with the other rules.

Whoops I've been a bad buddy and totally didn't think about posting on here! Sorry -- I thought we weren't "revealing ourselves" to our buddies (or to those who have us as buddies!) until the end! Well this is more fun then --- unforch, my cable to transfer photos from my digi cam is MIA so I can't post pics .... but my buddy is AWESOME!!!!!

I received an unbelievably gorgeous red clutch. I REALLY wish I could post the picture now -- it has this beautiful wrist-holder (for lack of a better word!) that is made of a pattern of beads that are mainly black and white and some red... it is sooo pretty -- it looks like you have a funky bracelet with a gorgeous clutch attached to it -- THANK YOU BUDDY!

I hope my buddy received her gift and likes it!
