I think the Luxe is bigger than the regular MAB and comes with longer handles!!!

oooh that would be awesome b/c the MA straps are just a touch too short to fit comfortably over my shoulders if i'm wearing a jacket...

FYI

I stopped by the sample sale again today when a "shipment" came in around 1:30pm. The "shipment" delivery involved one of the girls on the computer going to pick them up in huge blue garbage bags (stuffed w/ RM bags) from 38th St and taking a taxi back to the sale. The girl then proceeded to drag the bags on the hardwood floors from the front door all the way up the stairs - about 50 feet (yikes - scratches on the leather bags?? what was she thinking?

) so check your bags carefully!

There weren't a whole lot in her shipment - a few black, white/basketweave, and emerald MAM and MABs, and lots of clutches and makeup bags (about 5 garbage bags full of RM products). The customers snatched most of the MAM and MABs when they came in and so there aren't any more of those. There were lots of dream bags, plan B's, and clutches. I also saw gold Steadys - about 10 of them. I think those items may go on sale later since no one is touching them.

I saw a few market totes (2 in green and 1 in the dusty rose color) and their scarves selling for $30 separately in a box by the cashiers (the totes had scarves attached to them at the TPF sale and were included in the price - I got my "set" for $330 so they must be raising the price on those totes). One of the girls there said a few Nikkis would be coming in this afternoon as well but I didn't stay long enough to find out. She also said that there will be nothing in tangerine or wine at the sale.

I also saw a sad looking black Nikki being examined by several people at the sale (the leather looked a bit dry, crinkly, and about to crack). A girl came in trying to exchange her emerald green Nikki she purchased earlier. Apparently no one wanted to buy it off her and RM cashiers wouldn't let her exchange it for the black Nikki mentioned above.

dee, thanks for all of the pics! and congrats on your new makeup bag and clutch!! I actually will probably get that makeup bag too (i was having dreams about it earlier tonight).

I took the PATH to 14th St and got to the sale at 7:55 today. Nothing there really except for makeup bags, dream bags, clutches, evergreen and cream MABs/MAMs.

My favorite SA (the one with the brown hair, she had it up in a bun today) said that there may be a shipment tomorrow! let's keep our fingers crossed!

So I'm about to leave the sale and I say to Rebecca that I didn't see anything today. Well, she says, well i'd like to give you a scarf, as a token of my appreciation of you supporting us!! So she gave me a market tote scarf! I thanked her and hugged her!! It made my day

Can't wait to go back tomorrow, as i have been at the ss ALL THREE DAYS so far.
