So going in, I was hoping for a Nikki in any color...I got there around 6:40pm thinking a line might have just started, and was sad to see a looong line already of what looked like more than 50-60 people. Waited as they let people in in small batches, and finally entered with the 5th/6th? batch...by that time there were no unclaimed Nikkis in sight, so I was seriously tempted by a couple MAMs but tried to resist since I already have one in black (Ruby, Cognac, and Sage were all gorgeous and going fast). Anyway kept walking around hoping someone who had a Nikki would change their mind, and then saw a girl sitting down surrounded by a few bags including a Stone Nikki so I asked her if she decided not to get it could she let me know. I thought it was a long shot that she would decide against it, but I stood near her and a few seconds later she said she wasn't getting it and gave it to me! It was so nice of her -- THANK YOU, whoever you are out there!!

My friend and I were the part of the first batch that went inside, we made a beeline towards the bags and snatched up our goodies.
I snagged a hazelnut market bag. I lovelovelove the leather, and the gold hardware really accents the rich color. I can't wait to wear it!

The folks who attend the event were quite blessed. I'm sure I'll buy a new RM bag between now and the next ss but will definitely make next ss in NY in the Fall.

I'm not eager to fly across the country to LA just to buy a purse or two. There would be no savings in that move whatsoever between air fair and hotel. Not to mention, it's just not that serious for me.
