Yes Beano, all new Nikkis will have new hardware.. so it's either ebay or whatever is left in stock online or in stores..

I'm sure RM will bring back the old hardware. I personally like to have a mix.. a couple bags with old HW.. and a caouple with new HW. I like them both!

I'm trying to figure out what RM bag to get as my first, do you Nikki owners have trouble finding things in your Nikkis? I know its very deep and would like a little feedback! Thanks

Yes and No...it is deep and roomy, but I also carry lots of mini-purses inside my bag. One for makeup, credit cards, pens...etc. The side pockets for PDA's or cellphones are nice, wide and deep. I personally love it!

I personally do lose things in my Nikki, its a big bag. I do have a smaller pouch that keep inside it for my essentials though.
My Nikki tends to get heavy and make my shoulders sore, but I bet its because I'm carrying around everthing but the kitchen sink!

My Nikki is not really heavy since I don't normally carry a lot of stuff with me. Although it is deep, I can easily find and pull out my wallet or keys while keeping it on my shoulder. If I loaded it up, I'm sure things might get lost.

Another thing I love about the Nikki is that it never slips from my shoulder, even when I bend over to pick something up.

I used to carry only medium size bags, so I was unsure about the size of the Nikki before I bought it. However, it seems to work for me and I love how it looks. I've been using my Blue Stonewash Nikki for a few weeks now and I have a Wine Nikki on the way at the end of May.

I have a medium Coach Ergo hobo that I used to wear a lot. Now, I think it looks too small on me.

They say you can carry a 12" wide computer in the bag...I tried with a 12"book and it did. It does carry a lot but it can be heavy if you do. I have been a hobo girl, then went to "hand"bags and now am on a NIKKI type or BE Stroke Me girl..and I am loving it!

I agree with msterling that even though it can be heavy...it HAS NEVER fallen off my shoulder!

That seafoam is TDF. Maybe the sea green coming out in fall will be similar?!?!?!That article also says that RM will be launching her shoe line in Spring 08. Ummmm... isn't it officially spring now
