RM.COM Yellow Nikki... questions.

I hate to start a whole thread for such a simple question but couldn't find a better place to ask it.
So my question is, has anyone purchased the yellow nikki on RM.COM? If so is it:

a) the old resort style hardware?
b) regular older brass style hardware?
c) new signature shiny hardware?

Thank you in advance! I apologize if this has been discussed already.

looking at the website it looks like A) Resort style with the studs and B) old hardware. i have not ordered this bag, so don't know how accurate the photos are! you could also email cory@rebeccaminkoff.com. she's been great to work with.

I thought someone ordered this bag and it turned out to be a different yellow with new hardware? There were a couple of places that were offering the resort yellow nikki. I think Hipchick.com was and shopdressonline.com but shopdress is out of them. I considered ordering one with the pyramid hardware because it's my favorite hw plus the yellow is my fav color but I keep talking myself out of it because I own the mam! I seem to remember another place had the resort yellow nikki too but for the life of me I cannot remember.

LR I can see your concerns. Even though it looks like old resort hardware I would call and ask regardless. I think some girls had ordered wine bags with old hardware and they received new hardware.

will ask Cory.. I just thought maybe someone had ordered one and would know. I definitely can't be sure just by going off the website pics. I am hoping the hardware is old bras hardware (not resort & not new) but I think that is not the case.

it is the resort hardware with the studs. i asked RM Maven about this last month and she confirmed it.

It never hurts to ask. I've seen several times on recuts where the retailer will put up the old picture, just as an indication of color, and people end up disappointed when the hardware doesn't match up.

Oh thanks Loquita! I was just there but didn't see it. They have a very small shop and tend to keep some bags in the back room. I think they sell more bags via the website or phone orders so they don't really need to display as many bags. I will check back for sure!!

LR: ShopBop.com has the yellow Nikki in stock as well. There photo shows it with the studs.

you mean the regular nikki? not the resort?? That is what I'm looking for.. I'm off to check right now!

Edit to add: Just looked and it' the resort. I'm not a huge fan of the pyramid studs.. I like the older circle ones. Thank you for the help though!!

I would definitely ASK FIRST!!! I ordered one a while back right after the SS from RM.com and it had the same picture as the one that is on the website now. Needless to say, that is not the one I received! It was a totally different leather, like the sunshine color but not glazed/distressed with new hardware! HTH!!!

ShopBop's is as pictured. I had emailed them recently because I want a yellow resort nikki. Isn't Petulia's resort too? I'm only wondering because the picture on the website looks like it had the pyramid hardware. I guess contacting them is the only way to know for sure though.

Yeah.. I think it's worth contacting them too. Who knows, some of these places may have gotten a couple different types.. So you got your yellow resort nikki at ShopBop?? How do you like it?
Really, to be honest, I can't even afford to buy a yellow nikki right now but I can fantasize. I think at ome point I will have to have a yellow nikki!
