RM.COM Yellow Nikki... questions.

^I am with you on that one! I so covet a yellow Nikki...are you considering the new sunshine one that's coming out? I know that the leather's diff. from the sample sale sunshine, and it will have new HW, but other than that I am kinda lost. It should be the same color as the Minkettes accessories pix, I think.

Yes.. I think I;m going to try and get a Sunshine Nikki when they come out.. or shortly there after. I think that's the best option for me since I don't love the resort hardware. Thanks everyone..!

I didn't order it. I am in the same boat. I can't really afford it now but it sucks that the one I want is on ShopBop, petulia's folly, RM and hipchick! Temptation is everywhere! I have the mam though and I love it! I think I'm going to hold out for the new sunshine in December though because I think the leather will be easier to care for. I sort of feel guilty buying a mam and a nikki in the exact same leather and hardware too!

Really, to be honest, I can't even afford to buy a yellow nikki right now but I can fantasize. I think at ome point I will have to have a yellow nikki!

Me, three...I am going to hold out on this and see if I can do the new sunshine Nikki. I have heard about too many yellow Nikki mix-ups (in which someone orders the bag expecting one style, and then gets another) to want to order one now, plus I shouldn't ($$$)!

Since we're talking about the new sunshine coming in December I thought I'd post this pic of the Erin:

I think I'd like it in a nikki! And I'm 'thinking' that it'll be like the Iris leather because I was told that it has no sheen. I'd like a bag in a leather like the iris since I have the dark brown now and a navy luxe coming. It'll give me a little more variety. But again, we won't know anything for sure until we get them ourselves!

Yellow Nikki is still one of the best IMO! Worth saving / fantasizing for!

Really?? No sheen? It looks like it has sheen in the picture but as we ALL know pictures aren't what they always appear to be. May I ask who told you it wouldn't have sheen? Just wondering if it could possibly be a mistake or not... you never know anymore! Regardless I am really loving this color! Thank you so much for sharing!!

Yes, thanks for the pic! Sheen or not sheen, (though I am thinking that the sheen would be helpful in keeping this bag clean), I definitely have this one on my "want" list (which is growing ever longer by the day)

So if it's part of the holiday line it'll be coming out in November sometime, right? Anyone know?

There's a yellow Nikki at a boutique here. I don't remember what hardware it has, but you can call and ask. It's Mirabella: 504.828.3888

It is so lovely. But the resort yellow Nikki is kinda mustardy, right? I want a really bright, "true" yellow -- so I think I am going to hold out for the sunshine, which is like that.

The resort yellow is a nice yellow but the leather is fussier than I expect the sunshine coming out in December to be. I'm holding out for the sunshine because I think it's going to be like the dark brown and navy luxe leather which is stupendous! I'm going for a mini nikki in sunshine!!

I don't think the resort yellow is mustardy really. It's not a super-bright, true yellow. I guess it veers toward mustardy, but I wouldn't say that it is mustardy. It did, however, seem high-maintenance, which is why I sold mine. It kind of seemed like it would soak up any dirt that got on it.

^^ Yeah.. it's a gorgeous muted yellow but I noticed when I went to Petulia's that it scuffed fairly easily. I am not ok with scuffs on my bag even IF i am the one who put them there.. LOL!

I am very much looking forward to the sheen on the Sunshine to keep the bag looking great! It will be a very nice POP of yellow too. Now, my only concern is which hardware will it have?? My guess is the original "new" hardware . I was hoping that it would have the new "mixed" hardware to come but I wonder if they will get the mixed hw into production that fast...? Regardless I will get this bag.. I have it on preorder and cannot wait!
