Default Review of Steady, MA Clutch, thoughts on Rose

So I've used both the steady and the MA clutch a couple days now.

The Steady is my go to work bag. It fits letter sized files in it if the flaps are up. The cross body strap is very comfortable and my bag in night leather is fairly lightweight. I love it for commuting, very comfortable to walk with and nice to be hands free. The bag does hit a bit high when crossbody. The top of it hits between my hips and waist. I am 5'4". But if you are skinnier than me it would fall lower.

You can fit a lot in there including a small change of clothes and shoes. It would be a good overnighter. The magnetic flaps are great, it is secure and very easy to get in and out off. Also faster than zipping and unzipping. Big plus is that no zipper means no scratches on the hand.

The steady is great in the night because the leather is smoochy and molds a bit to the body. I don't think the steady would be as good in a stiffer leather. The steady is best with a bit of slouch.

MA CLUTCH
I love it: love the cross body just the right length, love the leather at the top of the strap so you don't have chains against your shoulder, love that the strap can be doubled up for a shoulder bag, perfect size to go from day to night. Can fit a full size wallet, kiss and makeup, cellphone, blackberry, i pod, baggu pouch, tissues, and a few more small things.

Not so great: the chain is Heavy when the clutch is full it feels as heavy as my MAM when full, the chain bangs against the chest and mine felt the tiniest bit sore after walking around for a day. I wish the front clasp opened up to a front pocket. Things in the bottom of the bag can get lost. Would be easier to find things if the bag was slightly deeper with a lower height.

I had the ROSE very briefly, I had ordered the night Rose from LB but returned it. I remember the chain being shorter than the MA clutch with the bag hitting around the waist when crossbody as opposed to MA clutch hits hip and below. It looked very bad with the Rose at my side, looked cute when I swung it behind my back. The rose was all chain with no shoulder leather. The size while cute, is not that great for carrying a wallet and most of my purse items are rectangular.

Sorry for the bad pics, didn't realize my mirror was so dirty.

Again sorry about the crummy pics, if anyone wants I will try to take more during the weekend in the daylight. I'm not at home when it is light out during the weekdays. For size comparison, I am 5'4" and wear 6/8. If you are thinner the bag will fall lower, since it doesn't have to go width wise so much there is more strap to go length wise.

I didn't think I'd like the steady in black but your comment about its slouch makes me think again... Thanks!
