Hi gals . With all the stonewash leather SOs going on (and don't think I'm not included), I had to jump on this opportunity when it presented itself to me to get my fix on super soft leather whilst I wait 3 long months for my SO...she's not stonewash, but she sure feels like she could be ...

Introducing, my lovely NOIR MAM:


So incredibly smooshy & broken in already:


Not a huge fan of the stamped HW (LOVE RM's older brass/silver HW), but the lambskin on this baby makes up for that !:

Okay, now I have a question for my fellow Minkettes. I know there was a thread that was started regarding having too many black bags, but I just want y'alls opinions on this one .

I have a BBW MAM already and feel terribly guilty for having another black MAM. Are they different enough to keep both ????

I don't have any side by side pics, but here is some of my BBW:




Different enough? My BBW has old brass HW + long finished tassels + blue/white striped lining, whilst Noir has new stamped HW + no tassels + black/white lining. Is that rationalization enough to keep them both ?!

Gorgeous! I love siggy hardware. Love it!

I would keep the noir and sell the basketweave. To me, they are quite similar and I prefer the siggy hardware to the tassles. It's much more elegant IMO. Both are GORGY though :)

I think they are diff enough. Brass vs Siggy. Blue zipper track vs Black. Basketweave vs Smooth. B/W lining vs Blue striped.

I am so glad I love both, if you think you'll get enough use out of both keep them. Otherwise, I agree...sell the basketweave and keep noir.

Thanks for your input knasarae ! I'm leaning towards keeping both because I have some sentimental attachment to BBW ! I just need some more pushing...

Hmmm...would love to keep both , but I suppose Noir's delish leather may win this contest...

I am crazy about Noir, but I would definitely keep both. They are both beautiful and both classics in their own way. Congrats!

The Noir leather is gorgeous!!! What a beautiful bag, I love how it hangs! I think they are different enough to keep both, but if you have a preference for the Noir, and you are not in love, love, love with the BW it would be on the chopping block for me...
