Another random thought here lol. I remember seeing the RM bag for the first time on the Real World. Was it San Diego?? Shoot I can't remember the locale, but when I first saw that bag, I knew I had to have it.

Did anyone post modeling/regular pics of an MAB with the short shoulder strap? I ordered one before the holidays and *cannot* wait to get it! Did I miss pictures somewhere?

I am definitely glad I ordered the shoulder strap with my MAB because the double straps do not want to stay on my shoulder - one always slips off. Hoping the shoulder strap will be a good solution

How are the gray and elephant. I haven't seen any in person so it's hard to tell. I'm looking for a color that will be super versatile and so with everything.

I have the dark gray MAM and I think it's great. IMO dark gray is a perfect color. It's really trendy right now, but it's not like lime green or orange, a color that will be in one season and out the next. Dark gray will always be in.

Hi lovely ladies in the house---I just ordered my first RM MAM bag last week and I wait patiently for it to arrive. Question----will the straps be long enough for me to carry it over the shoulder comfortably? Is it a heavy bag? I suppose some would say "why didn't this chick ask these questions before she bought the bag??!" Well, it was a good deal and I hate it when I wait a day and the deal is gone! It's happened too often. Plus I can return it.....Oh, and my other question is, do they make the MAM with silver hardware? It seems I saw someone mention it but I can't remember if that was the bag they were speaking of....Thanks in advance from the RM newbie!

That would be Colie from the Real World Denver! it was a chocolate brown (i think)morning after and she carried all the time! i remember watching that season and always wondered what a great bag it was and i wanted it sooo bad. this was waaaay before the whole Rebecca Minkoff craze, so she knew something great about Rebecca's bags before we all did!!!! i'll try to find a pic.

It fits over my shoulder, even with a coat, but sometimes one of the straps slips down. Usually I deal with this by crossing one strap over the other on my shoulder.

The weight of the bag depends on the color you get. Some have thinner, more lightweight leather, and some have heavier leather. They made some bags with silver hardware - my gray MAM has silver hardware - but I think most of them have gold hardware.
