i want to go back and try on the night blue and the evergreen and wine Nikki now! i didn't realize they had colors other than yellow since they must have been in the back. i really can't allow myself the yellow - no more light colored bags for pigpen me. i can't take the stress of managing/warding off the dirt... unless i start carrying around some ativan i guess let's see, 10$ Rx copay per month plus the cost of the bag...

I had a very hard time choosing between the night blue and wine, but decided the blue is a better color for me. I also like that the night blue leather is slouchier than the wine. However, I may end up getting another color eventually in the slightly more structured leather.

I just took a look at Luna Boston's site and there are some new styles and colors, including the mini Nikki in purple and chocolate and a bronze regular Nikki:

i think i am decided now on the night blue Nikki with the studs! saw the color & texture IRL on a MAM today and know just what you mean! i'm not really a red or green person but for the love that yellow is calling to me!!!!!!!!! i wear a lot of purples and it would look amazing with that contrast. but NO, NO, NO more light colored bags. haven't i learned my lesson from the HH havana in white and the Suki saddle?

ok, now the hard part, coming up with 500$...

Mini Nikki's in either lavendar, yellow, cream. Why? Because I want the hot pink with gold bottom in a mini morning after. I am officially starting my "saving up for my next Rebecca bag" right now.

The pre-sale discount would be sooooo appreciated!

There is a clutch called the Lex which is a smaller version with some details of the matinee, basically the Matinee's baby. Its super cute and comes in hot pink, blue and white patent..
Hi Rebecca, since you're interested in knowing what people want in a bag, I thought I would add my 2 cents worth.

I really like your MAM and would have bought it except I personally prefer more of an antique-gold or antique-brass looking hardware as opposed to silver or bright gold hardware.

Also, I was concerned that the black and white lining of the bag would become dirty-looking more quickly than a suede interior or something with darker material.

I will keep looking out for what's new on your website. Happy New Year!

Do you think it will go well with black? It will be my new everyday bag, so I want a color that will go with everything and work throughout the year.

thanks!

I think it would work beautifully. It'll pick up the contrast in the summer and work in Spring, Fall, and Winter.

Aside from "color" like pinks or blues, or metallics, I'm not a "light bag" type of person. They get dirty quickly and look "old" fast.

I have gone RM MAD-- just ordered a full-size MA in black from Gracie's Birmingham-- I saw it in the deals & steals thread for $452-- I haven't even gotten my eggplant MAM yet.

I need to be banned.

I agree. I would love the MAM with antiqued hardware; I think it would be so much lovelier! I also prefer the fleur de lis lining to the black and white one, although both are really pretty. I just think dirt would show up more on the latter.

Is the Niki in wine more of a darker red or is it kinda bright?

Totally random, but I was just watching The Hills, Lauren looks back... and towards the beginning Lauren and Stephen were at a fashion show. And it was Rebecca Minkoff's! Never even noticed it before, but it was kinda cool to see it. Ok, randomness over
