i have only seen a few minutes of season one. i'm reading the books, right now i'm on From Dead to Worse.
is it me or does the show make Sookie really dumb? i get that she's supposed to be somewhat uneducated but, the few minutes i saw she was SO dumb!
i'm pretty sure the show doesn't follow the books too closely.

Yeah she's definitely way more "damsel in distress" on the show. I'm hoping it'll improve for Season 2.

I have just gotten into True Blood on HBO. I'm kinda diggin it. I have it tivo'ed. I want to watch it from episode 1 so I know what you ladies are talking about. I don't even know everyones names yet!

Be careful it's addictive. One night I was bored in bed so I watched episode 5 on HBO. I got so interested I watched Episodes 1-4 On Demand so I would know what was going on! I stayed up til almost 4 in the morning....and this is someone who goes to bed early!
