Tx Honeybee, it was the perfect part time dream job! I mean c'mon, sitting on my butt all day doing nothing but surf TPF? LOL. Getting paid commission and not being taxxed. My RM collection is what it is because of this job. I won't ever forget it :)

Reason for them letting me go is because the kiosk is actually shutting down. The rent for the kiosk is just ridiculous. A month is $900+.. . I could totally understand why my boss is just sticking with an online website rather than this kiosk.

Oh well, time to job hunt for me.

anna - sorry to hear about your job, but as the other ladies have already said... you are going to found a much better job soon! I can feel it!

So minkettes... happy 4th of July!

Yesterday I went to the outlet mall with my mom, and of course there were tons of sales. Everything at Banana Republic was 40% off... so I got two pairs of pants and two nice tops for $90, and then just for fun... I went into Coach. I was going to go into Kate Spade as well but didn't after actually spending money at Coach for the first time in probably a year. I have been wanting a small wallet for forever so I was pretty excited to find a Hamptons signature french wallet that is greyish with black C's trimmed with black leather and has lavender leather on the inside for $60.

I am also a huge fan of the Coach Madison foldover leather clutch that retailed for $249, and when I was in FL last September-- I picked up a teal blue one for $75 I think. Well, of course they had the clutch in many colors and I've been lacking a black leather clutch in my collection... so I picked up a black one with silver hardware and light pink C's lining for $80. http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produc...tegoryID=25576

To top of my day of shopping...

my BURGUNDY MAC was sitting on the front porch from LB when I got home at 9:30 last night! My camera battery is charging right now and then I will take lots of pics. Burgundy is very similar to GE... GE has a thicker glazing and is shinier than Burgundy, but as far as color goes... they are extremely close in color. Pics coming soon!

What's everyone doing today? We are laying low at home. We took our boys to the day out with Thomas yesterday.

I got to watch an airshow and fireworks from my apt's parking lot last night! No real crowds, other than other people who live in the area coming to watch too.
I'm not sure if I will be heading downtown tonight for another show...

I am definitely keeping a low profile today... didn't go to the big show downtown last night because it was supposed to be ridiculous as far as parking goes. The local fireworks are tonight, but I'm also on call at the hospital until 8am tomorrow morning... so I'm hoping to just keep quiet and rest on the off chance I do have to go in.

I've been sick with the flu this week and just starting to feel human again, so it will continue to be a quiet day at home. No BBQ or anything spicy on the menu. So instead, I've been thinking about what I'll cook when I feel like eating again. Which led me to thinking about how I hate using the oven in the summer and further led to shopping online for a counter-top convection oven. Anyone have one? If so, can you recommend a brand?

OMG how funny! When i got off work last night, me and a friend went to the outlets too! I did some shopping at banana. Our coach is always ridiculously packed, so i get frustrated trying to go in there.. I can't wait to see your burgundy pics!

Happy 4th everyone!!

I'm not sure what we are doing tonight. I was laying low last night while everyone was out... i am at work today, and am SO frustrated that a lot of my coworkers got early dismissal to leave at 1 or 3, while i'm stuck here till 7
