Tara your tats are beautiful. I worked on a body art project for my museum in 2007 (photographs and objects from around the world including the Yakuza) called "Ancient Marks." It was one of our most popular exhibits ever! Your designs are as good as anything we had documented!

WOW, Tara! Your back is gorgeous!
I love seeing beautiful women with tattoos! It is not such a "taboo" as some people think it is... I love big pieces like yours that 'flow' together perfectly and full sleeves, etc.
I am a big fan, as well as piercings...
Beautiful! And your hair is so shiny! I envy that, too!
I have dull lifeless hair....

Thank you so much... I am aware of who the Yakuza are.. That must have been an awesome exhibit. Wish I could have seen it. My tattoo shop is in New Jersey and the owner is Mario Barth. He had his entire back tattooed by the Yakuza..He started with 1 shop, now he has 5 in NJ, 1 in Las Vegas, 1 in Spain and is going to be the first American to open a shop in Japan...

LOL on the hair.. Thank you very much for you kind words.. Me too.. I love seeing women with tattoos.. I think it's beautiful... So damn expensive though...lol I used to get lots of piercings too(nose, tongue, eyebrow, belly button) but my body rejects them and pushes the metal out of my body So no more with that..

Just a quick update from yesterday.. It went great! Didn't hurt too bad.. We just did the outline and going to finish up in January..

Chris Rainier is the photographer I worked with and his book (Ancient Marks) is currently available. Gorgeous b/w photographs from all over the world. He works with National Geographic and also was Ansel Adams assistant so the images are amazing. He spent 10+ years traveling to document body art. And the exhibit does travel so you might do a search to see where it might be next.

Thanks for the support
Don't let comments like that get to you. Trust me a lot of those type of comments come from jealousy.

Thats BS! Her wine mn was probably not wine.. THAT was probably cranberry or deep red and she must've been getting it confused with the wine MAM...

The only old school red that comes to mind is tomato and BERRY.

There was an old school CRANBERRY listed on e-bay recently....I asked the seller - Are you sure this is not Wine - She said NO - compared it to her Wine MN and said that it was a completely different color - said it was RED not WINE!...said it looked less red in the pictures...so I bought it -
It arrived today - beautiful old school bag but it's WINE -

I have the Wine matinee and an Eggplant MAM, and a WINE Nikki - didn't need a Wine MAM.

I wanted an old school Cranberry bag that was red like my current Cranberry MAM.
Don't know what to do because she insisted that her receipt says Cranberry. ...depends on who sells it what they call it ...a store can call it anything.

It matches my WIne Nikki perfectly - wonder why it doesn't match hers....

The thing is that I saw other wine bags sell for less recently. I could have bought a Wine MAM if I wanted it.... a lot cheaper than this.

Rant over.....

Ruby and Deep Red both came with signature hardware. Ruby was a true red with pink undertones, deep red has blue undertones.
