BH -- So happy for you, and the familia! Alex is beautiful!

Anna -- Sorry about the accident. I've been in a couple of fender benders. This is what you really need to do:
1. Don't count on your insurance to handle this for you. Most agents are so busy with
other work that you tend to be low man on the totem pole.
2. Call State Farm, and file the claim. They will give you a claim number. You will need this to handle everything related to the accident.
3. Tell State Farm, you need a rental, and take your car to the Body Shop of YOUR choice. Don't let them bully you into taking it to a shop of their choice. It may not do quality body work.
4. When Tofu Bob is repaired you don't have to accept it if it is not repaired to YOUR satisfaction. Inspect the paint work in the sunlight -- look for swirls; dull spots; over-spray; bubbles.
5. File a "DIMINISHED VALUE" claim. This is a claim that helps with the fact that your vehicle has now been in an accident, and does not have a factory finished paint job anymore. This accident has indeed diminished the value of your car. There aren't any true formulas to figuring out this value, but definitely don't take anything below 1200.

Baghag: Alex is Adorable!!! He seems to be enjoying his new home so far. Love the pic of him stretched out on the sofa making himself at home!! Can't believe how much he has already grown. Can't wait to hear how lovely Snowy reacted. She's probably thinking - Well, if he HAS to stay then I'll have him trained in NO time!!

Poor puppy just crashed on the couch! Busy day for him. I can't believe how much bigger he got in just 10 days!!

HE'S ADORABLE!!

Omgness, he's grown so much since the last pictures! Look how cute he is!! He looks like he has a liver colored spotted coat!!

YEA! One way my ***! I literally asked her "did you learn to drive yesterday?" I was so angry! But mostly at the fact that she didn't bother asking if I was okay.

SIGH! Our area makes the stereotype "Asian's cant drive" true! Sadly.

Thanks for the great info Tx Honeybee!! I know about #5 and that was why I cried so bad, because Tofu Bob won't ever be the same as again.. . he will but the "original" parts are .. . pretty much gone :(
