Several others have had problems with the handles detaching from the body of the bag. This seems to be a common problem for the MAB that have metal plates attaching the body and the handles together.

Grommets are the little protective metel rings that the surround some holes. I never paid attention if any of my bags had them or not.

Not trying to be snarky but isn't it a moot point asking questions to RM from this thread anymore? I don't think anyone from there monitors it anymore. It may as well be called "Questions for RM owners".
