Hello RM Maven!!
I have a question regarding the Elisha and Hobo straps:
is there any way to get them in older season colors?

I have two older bags, and I can only imagine the number of Minkettes who might want straps for their older bags as well.

I emailed through the RM website as well, but I know you're all crazy busy, so I figured I would put it here, so you could get to it when you had time to check in!

Maven - I'm referring to the Nolita pic in "Silver Streak" that you showed us...

Is "Silver Streak" the same silver that the MAB luxe will also be released in?

I agree with this. Or maybe have the package shipped to a trusting neighbor if they are home all day.

All of the UPS drivers that leave packages without getting a required signature should be fired!
I wonder if they get reprimanded for falsifying UPS records??

This isn't RM related but i thought it was kind of funny...

I heard the doorbell when I was just getting out of the shower, ran to the door and saw a FedEx signature required for delivery note. Well the driver just started his truck so I walked out to the driveway to catch him and guess what it was!?

3 free Marc Jacobs dust bags...

It even said "dust bags" on the shipping label...

indeed! megs and vlad are here for big-picture stuff; for day-to-day things like stickies or moving threads, a regular mod is your best bet for a fast response. we can do almost everything, so PM us before you go to megs and vlad. if it's something we can't do, we can get them to act on it. scroll to the bottom of the section for a list of people able to moderate in a section! then you just PM us like a regular member. also, global mods can moderate in any section, and our names are in pink. subforum mods can only moderate in their assigned sections, and their names are in orange. the RM section doesn't have a subforum mod, although it may in the future, so PM a global (pink name)!

amjac, i read your story and the hairs on my arm stood up -- i am so sorry! if i can help in anyway (like setting up my eBay account so that it will advise me if your Nikki pops up, and then i in turn can alert you immediately) then please let me know! i am very happy to do so, please just give me the info.

and i really appreciate your posting this really rough story on the forum to let the rest of us know that we need to be careful. i have learned an important lesson from it, though i am upset for you that you have to go through this.

I am so sorry about your bag. UPS covers up to $100 by the sender, but the sender can pay more for the true value. I don't know how you prov that you never received the bag if the driver lied about your signing. I wonder if RM bought the additional coverage?

I'm so sorry to hear that happen to you. I sort of had a similar experience with Fedex where they delivered a bag to my house (not RM), rang the doorbell once, left the package and left. Luckily I was home so I ran out as soon as the bell rang but the box was left on my doorstep and I saw him drive away. I really hope UPS will take responsibility and reimburse you for the bag.

Not only do these carriers drop things off without signature, but they also leave those "tried but you weren't there" post-it's without ever ringing the doorbell! So shady!

I truly believe that karma will come to bite the thief in the a**!!

I am glad I saw this. I was actually waiting for a box from RM and was going to be out of town when it was to be delivered... so Vlad and I called UPS to have them hold it. They informed him that it was SIGNATURE REQUIRED so they would hold it for us when the carrier realized we were not home. It arrived last Wednesday and we got back today... to see it sitting at our door. I was REALLY thankful that it was not stolen and really irked that it did not get held.

This seems to be a UPS problem...

Okay sorry sweetart I may be slightly intoxicated (haha getting to be a theme with me) but I don't get it. Meaning the driver stole the bags and left the dustbags? Or meaning MJ sent you dustbags randomly and required sigs on them (even though you didn't give a sig)? Or meaning sango just give it up and go to bed?

Oh and Megs - do I have a better chance at the August giveaway if I can carry a tune? B/c lalalalalala. I want that bucket bag so bad! It's tdf. I can even dance for ya if need be.

This is true. It happened to me once. I don't remember the details too clearly, but I am pretty sure that the merchant filed the report to UPS, and then UPS contacted me from there. They do an investigation, ask both you and the driver some questions and then take it from there.
