I love RM and I want to buy everything, but I just noticed something that has been bothering me for the past hour since reading about it that I just wanted to get off my chest.

Why is she shipping labor to China? Can't we just keep it in house USA? And if it does get shipped to China, it should be reflected in price drops which I doubt will happen. It will for sure depreciate brand value, which I do not want for both Rebecca and us.

Like shopping at American Apparel, I could get these shirts from China for $1 each, same quality, but I like the fact that we are supporting US labor, and that is why it is such a force for everday fashion. There are people here who need jobs, and I do not mind paying extra money so that they get the health care plan and compensation for overtime.

In the wake of a struggling national economic crisis, we, as Americans, need to work on supporting American made goods, labor, and resources; keeping American money in house.

In response to the Amercian bags being of less quality (more problems) than Chinese made bags. I know we can hit the target if we work harder, its not an excuse.

Sorry for being a whinocerous, but I think we have undeniable talent and the brute force here, so I just wanted to bring it up. I still love her bags to the max.

- I thought I had read about it on this thread, but it was actually the Balenciaga vs Minkoff thread.
- This is the most read thread right now for Minkoff, so I thought it may elicit the most response (positive or negative) and I wanted to see how loyal Minkettes (since I am a newbie) feel.

I really appreciate her talent, and I do not want to sound like a negative nancy, which I unfortunately probably do. Boo.

I just got home from the SS and I was able to find the last black leather Nikki with old silver hardware! Yay
Also I didn't plan to but I purchased a black mini Nikki (yikes)

because i just really fell in love with both, I love how soft the mini Nikki felt so I had to buy it....

anyway my new RM collection thanks to RM SS: MAC purple lizard, Mini Nikki Black, Nikki Black!

THE LA SS is Dec 4,5,6 !! 12pm-8pm I believe. And some of us Minkettes are trying to get a special preview night on Dec 3 from 8pm-12am, so there you have it
