I am officially starting a "steady" thread.. a place to come chat, share and post all about the lovely Steady bag by Rebecca Minkoff.

I'll start.. as many of you already know I was able to score a beautiful Steady in Sterling at the ss. Here are some "action" pictures of me with my Steady love. I'd really like to say before you look at the pics that they do NOT do the bag any justice whatsoever! This bag S-H-I-N-E-S out in the sunlight but in these pictures I wasn't standing in the right light for the camera to pic up the true, amazing beauty of this bag.

You know how if you hold up a diamond ring in the sunlight and slowly turn it, it reflects the light in the most beautiful way?? Well that what this bag does but you just can't see that in this photo.. so when your are looking at my pics please keep this in mind.

p.s. I am now determined to take better photos and as soon as I can I'll post them so you all can see what I'm talking about!!

This will have to do for now.. enjoy!!

(it was a really windy day so my skirt was blowing all over the place :)~ )

little rock......I was ga-ga for your sterling steady when you first posted pics of it but now that I see it on your arm and hand it looks totally different, shape-wise.....looks much better than I thought it would. How big are those pockets on the outside and what can you put in them? What a great SS find! I am praying my marine/cobalt matinee is the same glittery finish as your sterling.
Can we have a pic using the longer strap? do you use it?

Thank you! To be honest I don't use the outside pockets, I don't use them on any of my RM bags because I'm afraid or stretching the leather out.. stupid I know! I do occasionally use them for small papers.. and maybe my debit card for easy access or receipts and such.. Hope that helps!

I love your steady! I am toying with the idea of buying one in ocean... I've been in love since they posted it for the monthly giveaway. I've NEVER spent even half that amount on a bag, but I've saved up and could pay for it outright... so I am very very tempted!!

I am taking a couple of trips this summer and it looks like it would be perfect to take to the airport because of the longer strap... this thread is definitely making me lean toward buying!!!

Littlerock, two questions. Are you able to wear the strap crossbody, or is too short to do that? Also, would you call the color silver or gold? In the pic next to your other bags, it looks kind of gold...

I'm going on a trip this summer too, and thought this would be a great bag to take with me!
