Love it Samia and it looks like those gladiators were made to go with it.

Hi. This is my very first post. Got my very first RM- a dusty silver spot steady from ShopBop. Prob is I received it with scratches and the leather has dark areas maybe from the accumulated dirt? Should I return it? And if ever, how do you care for this leather since I've read that it is very delicate. thanks

This is the condition of the bag I received. Notice the dark areas below the handles. Should I return it? I emailed their customer service and they told me that they can accept the return or they can give further reduction. What do you think? Help!bag.jpg

How much did you pay and how much more of a reduction are they offering? My first inclination is to send it back, but I suppose it depends.

I am in love with this bag and its perfect for my daily needs, fits everything and also is great with my Beach LQ.

This steady is in horrible condition. I think you should send it back. Tatertot previously mentioned Lovinmybags pro treatment works really well for this bag, but the condition your bag is in, i'd rather pay a tad bit more for one in better condition.

Clutch seattle has steady's on sale now for 40% off.

thanks for the suggestions ladies. I got the dusty bag at ShopBop for their sale price of 337.50. Really thought I got a good price for a RM bag. They still haven't emailed me back yet about the further reduction. Anyway, might just return the bag.

kt123 there was a dusty in better condition than that at plaza too in NYC last week for $269 so don't think you got a great deal on a bag that isn't in great condition. You can do better. I agree with Desi that you should not keep it.

This might have been asked already, but I can't seem to find this question anywhere. Can you put a laptop in the steady? I have a smaller HP laptop and I was hoping to be able to use one bag for both "purse" and "work bag".... any thoughts from current steady owners?

No chance. Sorry to disappoint. It's a very structured square-ish style and so I think the laptop would stretch it to where it'd look awkward. And I don't think you'd even get it in there anyway. I wonder about the henri though.

I think a Duo bag might be better for fitting a computer in it...IMO
