I didn't regret getting this one. Boy, I never expected Black to be so Nice. To me black is boring and basic. This bag is really really nice and rich. Love the shape. I hope the flap doesn't bend like I've heard. I probably will carry it mostly by hand.

I currently have THREE steadys sitting in my office:

The stone/tangerine:

The dusty/silver spot (the corners un-smashed pretty well):

and the sterling:

and a group shot:

I am seriously in LOVE with the sterling. So gorgeous. I've used it a few times already and it really is a great bag. The straps fit over the shoulder comfortably and the longer strap is a great option. It doesn't really work corssbody for me. I'm going to return the stone/tangerine. I wasn't expecting the stone to be so beige. I'm on the fence about the dusty/sliver spot. I really like it, but I'm worried about the leather getting even more scraped up.

Can anyone with a Steady comment on the pocket use? I generally would put my keys in one and a cell phone in one, etc. With use do these pockets pouch out or become unsightly? Also...do you think that using the strap predisposes the flap to bend upward?
I'd like to move into the bag but I don't want to ruin it. And If you have to treat it with kid gloves, then I'm not going to be wholey happy. KWIM? After all, bags are suppose to be used.

The 4 outside pockets are really small IMO...they're not very deep so I would stay away from stuffing too much in them or the bag will look weird. In regards to the longer strap, I use mine often & it has not caused any problems with the top closure of the bag getting bent.

I have the Dusty color & it's very delicate...however it's a GRREEAAATT neutral color & I am so glad to have it

especially since the HW is silver

Go for it if you really want it...I doubt that you will regret it, especially since so many of the Steady bags are on SALE now...too bad I did not wait!

Thanks Arm Candy! I already bought the Black steady and got it yesterday. Love it. I'll try to keep smaller items in the pockets; Gum, Chapstick, etc. I think I'm ready to set up house in it :-)

Ok, I finally got around to taking some pics. You can see the left flap starting to bend. It's definitely more pronounced when I use the longer strap, so I've been trying to use the handles more. But I hope RM makes a stronger flap down the road...

Hopefully my bag is in the minority with this problem. Otherwise, I love this bag!

I just bought the steady in the stone tangy color online at plazatoo after seeing it at the store. My daughters loved it. I didn't have to pay tax or shipping so we are all waiting anxiously to get it next week. I looked at several colors and thought it would work best for my wardrobe since I have reddish hair and natural colors look best on us. It will also work when I go to UT games. Go Big Orange!

Just recieved my Steady and absolutely love it! Everything seems fine, no major flaws, just a few blemishes here and there and the front is a bit wrinkly but I am not a picky person and I also think that is characteristic of the leather. Anyway here are a few pics:

Inside with my RM scarf, she looks so dressy:

And it goes perfectly with my Gladiators from Nine West:

And lastly me wearing it:

I am in love with this bag and its perfect for my daily needs, fits everything and also is great with my Beach LQ.
