i haven't used my dusty steady yet but i noticed that the leather on the flap is coming loose from the inside material (whatever it is, cardboard?) and the flap is bending. (does that make sense?) is this happening to anyone else?

This sounds really BAD Super Chick I have never had these problems with my Steady Dusty..I mean of course the leather is very soft & delicate, but it's still in good shape...maybe you should return it if you can?

Where did you purchase yours from, if you don't mind me asking? I purchased mine from Bloomingdales back in March.

arm candy lady, i purchased my dusty steady from bloomingdales in may. not to rag on RM but i had to order 3 different bags before i found one that was acceptable. some had different colored leather panels, some leather panels were all wrinkly, or the bag was so scratched up that i didn't want it. i really do love the style and color so i searched for a near perfect one and was happy with this one but now this problem. i am thinking about returning it but i do love it so much. these bags are mostly only available to me online so i can't see it before it comes to me.

I completely understand your point Super Chick...however if you really like the bag, I am not sure if you send it back that you will get anything better since this bag is so delicate.

If you can't live with it in it's present condition, I say return it ASAP & treat yourself to one of the pre-fall or fall RM bags that are coming out..some of them are TDF
