I just got an e-mail from bagtrends saying they were out of the Dusty/Silverspot Steady.

But they will honor the same price on any of the other Steadys. I think I am just going to pass.

Yep, same here. They also took the sale prices off the bags. Black? Cream with Jade? Or Sterling.
I am in a quandry.....
Is there any way the Silver Metallic would wear off?
Is the Black just too boring???

Here's my STEADY DUSTY!! This bag is very delicate but I still

Anyone else having troubles keeping this baby cleaned?

I have resorted to just leaving it alone since I don't want to stain it by adding things to it...the color is certainly darkening over time....who knows it will be know as "Dusty Dirty" one day

The black is definitely not boring. I have almost 20 bags and only two of them are black because I usually find black bags boring. I just keep them for times when I need a basic black bag. I bought the Night Steady and it was awesome. The leather was sooooo supple and smooshy. It was black...but black, with oomph! The only reason I returned it was because it was too big for me. But Night leather can definitely hold its own against other colors.

The bag is slouchy & the leather is very, very soft...so it is really a delicate bag that can get dirty real easy...I still

it despite this. There's a few places that have it for sale like Luna Boston...get it before it's gone if you are interested.

I originally told Bagtrends no thanks on another bag but when I saw your post I re-thought that. So I called this morning and they are sending me a black one for the same price of 347.50. She was totally cool on my wishy washyness and was very nice. So I guess I'll be getting a black steady. I love satchels and I do need a Black bag. So thanks!

And it helped me feel better to know that the Dusty one might have had delicacy issues. I never thought of that aspect when ordering.

Are any of you Steady owners having an issue with the composure of the top flap with the magnetic strip? On one side, the flap is starting to bend - probably from the weight of the contents of my bag. But the magnetic top is my favorite part of the Steady, and I'm sad to see it starting to 'break'

Yeah, I probably should lighten up my load! And maybe start using the double handle more often than the longer strap.

I'm under the assumption (ha) that the stingray combo is the cheri pictured in the Collection section of RM.com (top left pic):

The night leather is amazing. Soft, supple, smooshy with just a soft sheen. You'll want to pet it all the time. Not glazed, not matte, but lovely. I have the night steady too, I love it.
