I love the look of this bag but was always a little afraid of it. After seeing LittleRock and how fabulous she looks (Little Rock & the Steady :-) I am more inclined towards it. Can anyone tell me how functional it is. Is it easy to get in and out of quickly? And I really like satchels to be super structured. Will it slouch when not filled or hold it's shape?

Slouchiness will depend on the leather. My night steady (the night leather is super soft and supple) slouches a bit (the sides collapse a little bit but no where near a puddle), but I think the structure of the bag prevents it from slouching as much as a MAB or nikki. I imagine the sterling would be much stiffer because of the style of leather.

It is very easy to get in and out of. I like the magnets on the top because it is easier to use than a zipper and no zipper cuts on the hand. It is a bit hard to close the magnets if the bag is stuffed full though takes a bit of manuvering.

My new Steady finally arrived and of course I had to fill her up right away and take her out for the day. I am in LOVE with this bag!! It has the softest leather ever and is simply dreamy

, Thanks so much. I was off to run errands and I made hubby come out in the yard and take some pics of me. He is such a good sport and even checked to make sure they were PF worthy

Tater you look so cute! I esp like that middle pic - its a very regal pose - reminds me of portraits from the 1800s. (I mean that in a good way)

IMO - it's totally functional! And probably the EASIEST bag to get in & out of that you will ever own. The magnet closure is so easy to open and close.. actually it closes by it's self. My sterling steady is totally structure (which I love btw!) My bag will hold it's shape completey when empty.. not sure about the others but I'll bet they're pretty similar. Thanks for your kind words Lexie!! Always tryin' to rock the bag collection whenever possible

How would you describe the dusty color? It looks somewhat like a light stone or camel color to me.

I love everyone's modeling pictures! I'd love to see the bag in more colors.
