That bag is fabulous! I think I need a steady! You're right, the online pictures don't do it justice and it looks great on you.

Sorry, I didn't mean your online pictures didn't do it justice! I didn't think much of this bag until seeing your "action" pictures. For some reason, the online pictures at lunaboston didn't interest me. Your pictures make me want to place an order!

OK.. Just wanted to have a little fun so here are some additional pics of me with my Steady..

Remember those beautiful pics of the steady and the gorgeous blonde model on RM.COM?? Well I realized that I have almost the exact outfit she was wearing so I took pictures! LOL. I don't think I'm a model in any way shape or form but I thought it would be funny b/c I have the same dress & bag..

OK- So here is the ad from the website:

And here are some of my pics:

Is the steady not a very popular bag? I haven't been around long but these are the first modeling pics I've seen of the steady. Without the search function I've mostly been tooling around the first page of threads but most are about the MAB, MAM, and Nikki.

Nauticalstar- you are correct! The steady is not a very popular bag.. It is not UNpopular either, it's just that more people like the MA bags, Matinees & Nikkis a bit better. I like to have a variey of RM bags.. I can appreciate them all..

Littlerock, you look absolutely fabulous with your sterling steady! Love your pics and thanks for posting them! It definitely helps to see modeling pics of the steady and I definitely think that the steady is going on my must-have list! Congrats on such a super cute bag!

Shoppergirl- Yes I am able to wear my bag cross body..in fact one of the reasons I like it is because of that fact since I ride my bike a lot in the city. It is not a low sitting messenger bag though, I'd say it comes in at my low waist.
Hope that helps, enjoy your trip!!

Review of Steady, MA Clutch, thoughts on Rose

Hi Nauticalstar, I posted some pics here, unfortunately they kinda suck. But there are some cross-body pics included.

For anyone wondering if the steady will work as an overnighter or weekend bag. Yes...

This is what my steady fits:
a pair of jeans
one thin long sleeved T-shirt
one thin short sleeved T-shirt
two changes of undies, one bra in the red bag
pair of flats
toiletries bag: has toothbrush case, full size toothpaste, floss, deoderant, eye makeup remover, face wash, and moisterizer
blackberry
tissues
and an ipod in the mushroom bag

If this were my real weekend bag. I would probably carry a small purse too for my wallet, ipod, tissues, cell phone. As an overnight bag, I would take out the jeans, and would be able to fit in my wallet and misc stuff. Also it would definately work for the summer. Just roll up two thin dresses and you are good to go, because they are much less bulky than jeans.

Littlerock80, your Steady is so outstanding, and you take really great pictures. I was wondering if you treated this bag like the others. Don't you also have a Dusty MAM? How is that one holding up to use, i.e., the handles? Thanks for the update.

Lilac- thanks for sharing your pics! I have really been craving the Steady in Night!

Tx Honeybee- Thank you!
1) No- I haven't treated this bag at all but was thinking about it once my shippment of protectant spray comes in. I'll let you know what happens!
2) I don not have a dusty MAM (I have a Dark Grey MAM, Wine MAM, Glazed Espresso MAM, and Hazelnut MAM) I love the color of the Dusty leather but I am not a fan of the leather itself. I would never be able to keep that bag clean and I'm pretty good with my bags : ).
3) The handles on the steady are fine. Obviously haven't used this bag very much yet but I believe the newer bags have been improved apon as far as the handles are concerned. I could be wrong but I though RM was aware of the handle thing a long time ago. Anywhoo- None of my bags have a handle issue so that hasn't been a concern of mine. Having said that I don;t use any of my bags everyday.. I rotate almost everyday so none of them get too much use at once.
HTH!!
