By keeping it's shape, it would be a little uncomfotable to shoulder sling with the handles? The base would jut out under one's arm? I have always used slouchy bags so maybe the Steady is not for me. Thank you for the comparison with MAMs/MABs.

I wore my steady with handles over the shoulder and it didn't feel too bad. Usually, though, I keep my hand up on the handles so only my elbow goes down over the bag. Does that make sense?

It is definitely most comfortable to wear with the long strap- If I wore it cross body the bag hit just above my hip. But I also carried it with the handles in hand or over the elbow.

How's the leather of the Caramel Steady? Is it thick or smooshy? Why are Steady bags cheaper than MAB and Matinee? I see them going for low $300's online all the time
