I bought this bag as my birthday present to myself- it cost far more than I have ever spent on a bag. Because of that I've had it almost a month and have been afraid to use it more than 10 times. Gryson had the same kind of problems once their bags became so popular. If you go to the old Gryson post you will see there were so many of us who had problems with rivits on the bags and handles falling a part. I sure hope RM fixes this problem ASAP. A lot ot TPFers got turned off by the whole Gryson experience and I think Gryson lost a lot of fans

^This is what I am worried about... I fell in love with the new tie dye bag but I am sooo afraid to buy it. And I have already lost interest in the deep purple MAM that I wanted so badly before- just because of the handles, not because I don't like the way it looks. Mostly this is because I don't live anywhere near a store where I could inspect bags myself- I have to rely on mail order.

I just received my new steady bag from Luna Boston and after inspecting it this bag has problems with the handles. One handle is finished off very nicely and the other is not and the leather is frayed. There is also a small cut in the leather of the same handle and the top black snap is scatched. I called LB and they told me to send pictures and if they agree that this is not acceptable I can return the bag. May RM should slow down her production before she loses customers like Gryson has

So sorry about your bag! If it makes you feel better I've been having a great experience with LB's customer service- they told me to send my bag right back for repair. The USPS hasn't successfully delivered the bag yet and they have been really helpful in trying to track it down.

argh. USPS tried to deliver the bag July 16th at 2:30pm to LB's factory... it said they left a notice. I called LB July 17th and 18th and was told the factory was closed so they couldn't find anything out. She said to call in the morning. I tried to find time, but I work all day so 11am is a bad time to call anywhere. July 19th an employee finally took the tracking number and called the post office about it. But it looks like USPS only attempted to deliver once, then held the package to be picked up.

No matter what happened, it is taking WAY longer to deliver this than I anticipated! I sent it by fast mail to increase my chances of getting the bag back before I go on vacation at the end of august but it doesn't look like thats going to happen! So frustrated, because I bought the steady cuz it looked like it would be a great bag to take to an airport.

So, got my first steady today....ordered it in Sterling....looked cute online and in a photo somone posted but I'm concerned it's a little "bright/shiny." Does the color/leather tone down with wear?

HHMMM, I'm not sure as I don't have a Sterling. My Dusty has broken beautifully. I'm sure a Sterling owner will be along soon to help.
