Can't tell you about Bloomies at the Beverly Center, but the Bloomies at Century City doesn't carry RM and neither does the Nordies at the Grove. The only place I know of that has RM in stock is Cami in Manhattan Beach. I think she still has the Black Dream Bag on sale.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I was at Saks in Beverly Hills today for their F&F - I saw MABs in the Ocean/Crackle, Fuschia/Crackle and Night/Crackle. I also saw the Steady bag in this strange gritty gold color. There was also a Night/Gold Matinee! (in the contemporary section on the fifth floor). No Nikkis in sight, unfortunately. I think someone posted in Deals & Steals that her SA in the Saks BH store would give free shipping! Just a heads up.

I really really like to see/try bags IRL before buying them, so I hope other retailers will still carry RM bags in their (real, not online) stores.

^^this is weird, stores not carrying them anymore. is she really trying to be more exclusive? i know people here have speculated, but that may be some hard proof. so much for market saturation.
it's too bad b/c lots of people won't buy sight unseen.

^ true true...sometimes I find something that looks good online and I get it delivered and Im like..oh my thats going back...

as for LA country area...I was at Rodeo drive yesterday and stopped by Saks, they had a couple Morning afters and clutches but thats about it, Neimans didnt have any... and I dont think any of the dept stores in Costa Mesa carry them anymore..I was fairly surprised since Bloomies in Costa Mesa had a full shelf of them and now they dont carry them anymore...the only other one I know that carries RM is the Nordstrom in Fashion Valley in San Diego, but then again that was a couple months back,,,it could have changed...

As of yesterday, there is no Rebecca Minkoff in my Saks, Bloomingdales, or Nordstrom here in SF. (There was a big rack of Anna Corrina though which surprised me! First time I have seen Anna Corrina in a department store. I guess they are maybe rotating some indie mid-end brands through there nowadays!)

It could be that RM is not selling well in the stores in some locations. Or, it could have been her decision to make the bags more exclusive to online purchase or to build more excitement for the fall line by making them more scarce. Perhaps we will see a big launch at many dept. stores in the fall. We will just have to wait and see! :)

I spoke with an SA in our Nordstrom here in Columbus, Ohio and she told me that they used to carry RM a while ago but they didn't sell very well so they stopped carrying them. That was before they started showing up in major magazines though. They can always order one for you from one of their other stores though. Oddly enough our Nordstrom carries Anna Corinna as well.

Our Saks doesn't carry RM and none of the local boutiques do either. And, unfortunately, we don't have a Bloomies or NM (although I've heard a rumor that we will be getting a NM soon!!!) We are sort of behind the times in the O H I O...

I called this little boutique shop where I live and asked if they had RM (they are listed on RMs website). They said they wouldn't be carrying anymore because RM raised the # of purses that a store is required to order and it was just too many. hmmmm.......
