Wow I think it's great no one takes insult to all the posts! We need to express our opinions.
I guess it just blows my mind when really how much could it cost to make one of the bags? MAYBE 100$ with the leather and parts and labor?? And sell for 600-700 (the new bag prices). That's one heck of a income. I wish I could design bags!!!!!!!!
I really do love my RM but mine is the eggplant mam and has old hardwear. I have read so many posts and it seems like the newer bags are flimsy and not as well made as the older bags. I almost bought the mam ocean blue with gold crackle but so many were complaining about the crackle chipping off . So anyway I just think alot of people will be moving along to something different unless they find a major discount. (I agree with whoever said most people don't even recognize a RM bag) all my friends pick it up and say ooh cute, but have NO CLUE who RM is. Maybe if I lived in NY or CA

I have to say that where I live - in suburban Chicago- very few have heard of RM as well. Neither my Nordstrom nor NM carry her. I have never seen another RM bag, but I'm not in the city very often.
