I'm sure the Lilac Mini Nikki was bought at the Gilt sale, and we dont have any of the usual complaints about bag flipping.....guess that only applies to eBay purchases....

I think it's because it's been a while since the gilt sale went on. I think if this was posted like just a couple of days after the sale, we'd have lots of bag flipping claims.

Right, and I think that it is difficult when you are purchasing bags sight-unseen, to really know if it works for you. Plus they can not be returned. While I may be a bit sad I wasn't the one to get it at a great price, if people are willing to pay a certain price, then I can't really blame them for selling it for a higher amount.

I agree...all the bag flipping whining gets on my nerves. I see nothing wrong with selling a bag that maybe you didnt like or purchasing one with the intent to make a profit. That is how things work.

I totally agree on the re-selling of bags. It's your own prerogative to sell for a reasonable amount; if there's a market for it at a certain price, then sure why not?

IMO though, it's not considered "flipping" b/c we can't improve it to sell for profit. A house, yes, bags, no.
