I hate Delcina. I had that MAM in my cart and they took it away while I was registering - I was in the process of buying it! I will never shop there.

Oh no! I hate it when that happens!

Canyonaly, you must persevere if you really like the bag.

Once someone releases the bag from their shopping cart, it will be available again. Try again later?

I emailed Delcina and told them that it was ridiculous that while I was registering (i.e. had the item in my cart) that they took it away. They offered me a BS discount on another bag I didn't want - 20% off just like Luna Boston so hardly a consolation. So I emailed this info back to them and they basically said F off. I hate that place I will never shop there.

^^ RM's at that price are a steal. i'm sure there were tons of pple to hop on it... Sorry you didn't get the bag canyonaly but there are many sites that take things out of your cart. Neiman Marcus is notorious for this!

I agree, desiprinzess. When a popular bag like that goes on sale cheap, you can't start celebrating until you get an order confirmation. Online boutiques aside, I can't even begin to count how many times on eBay I've hit the Buy-It-Now button, only to have been seconds too late.

I will say, I've been completely satisfied everytime I've dealt with Delcina. It may not have been a bag you wanted, but give them a little credit - at least they offered you something to try to make it right - even though they *really* didn't have to on a first come, first served sale.

Just my 2 cents.

I would have bought it immediately if the site didn't force me to register. If I am in the process of paying, I think they should hold the bag in the cart, for at least 2 mins. That is bad CS, period. When it happens to you, maybe you'll understand.

It has happened to me, but as I said in my earlier post - when I'm buying something at a steal, I never celebrate until I get confirmation.

canyonaly- it happens to us all hun! it was either get the bag taken out of your cart, or had your CC charged, funds held, and then get a cancellation notice! Don't worry, i'm sure you'll find a great deal on another RM.

its pretty common practice for online shopping places to do that. the only place that doesnt really is ShopBop. i think its fair. the fastest person to buy it gets it. otherwise, people would have it sit in their carts for as long as they please while people who are super sure of buying it cant. the person that "took" the one from your cart got to it first and paid/registered faster. i think 20% is very generous of them to give you.

it has happened to me tons of times but the fastest person wins the bag! it sucks but it makes sense to me. if i didnt get it, i shouldve signed in earlier or typed my info in faster. better luck next time! sometimes it sucks more when youve paid for everything and they send you an out of stock email. id prefer not to get my hopes up by checking out and finding out later that i cant get my bag.

aww that mam ended with no bids! i wish i saw it sooner!

I bet everyone still remembers the few weeks ago when plazatoo/BlueFly were holding RM bag sales... the anxiety level on this forum was so high while everyone was waiting for their order and shipping confirmation details!
