New Yellow vs Old Yellow (Sunshine?)

I swear I used the search several different ways, but came up empty.

Would anyone be able to tell me about the old yellow RM color vs the new one on the RM site?

Sunshine is the new yellow and the one that was sold at the Online SS was very distressed and gorgeous.

The yellow on the site is an older yellow.

So, the picture of the one on the RM site is sunshine and is available but is not the same bag as the SS one that was distressed. Does the SS yellow have a name and is it going to be available?

The color is Sunshine. There is one listed on eBay right now. Check it out. It is very distressed. I like it.

The yellow on the RM site (in the Nikki) is actually an older yellow, and there is a new yellow that they are shipping in place of that bag. It is brighter, I think it may be the sunshine color minus the glaze. I got it, but returned it b/c it has new hardware and was a much brighter yellow than I was looking for. So their are at least 3 yellow variations in the Nikki that I know of...

Hi Andee- as far as i know Rebecca has 5 different yellows...

One was from last summer, which was just called "yellow" and is the one that is back on the website. This is the same bag that Vanessa M was carrying.

2nd was a little paler yellow that was part of the resort 07 collection. This yellow was not glazed, very matte, smooshy, and came with studded hardware

3rd- again was called yellow for spring 08. It was basically the bag that came in the "yellow/silverspot" combo in the matinee, market, and MA

4th- Distressed Sunshine- this is the sunshine leather, and a handful of them were made with a distressed style (as seen on eBay) for the online sample sale. Again there were only 4 of these i believe

5th- is just called sunshine. it is a nice bright yellow with glazing....

All of these bags basically are yellow, but she just changed up the design each season.

So where does the color "Sahara" come in? I just purchased a Matinee (from a tPF'er) that she said was from a sample sale. Is it more yellow, or more tan? Anyone know?

I really like the distressed sunshine- is it soft and smooshy leather that collapses in on itself (like the original Navy) or is it more stiff and structured like the Elephant color?

It's definitely yellow... not tan at all.

The colors in the photos are true to life.

kelpie! i saw that mattie on eBay, it looked gorgeous! i think i saw it at the nyc sample sale, it looked very lovely.

my fave yellow is that one that Vannessa M and Leven Ramblin had on their nikki's. So gorgeous. i actually considered buying one if i saw one at the SS, and i am not a yellow fan at all (i am very blonde and pale, so yellow looks not so cute on me!) but that bag could have converted me.
