Thanks for all the birthday wishes ladies! Here are the pics!

This is pretty accurate of the color, especially the close up pic of the hardware. It's a very dark purple with a slight glaze to it. I still find the leather soft though, it's definitely not hard or crunchy as I find some glazed leathers to be. Don't mind my puppy pushing the bag with her nose, she is curious:)

it very pretty....has a nice sheen/shimmer to it without being too shiny.
I wanted a lighter purple so I'll have to check mine out tomorrow

It definitely is quite dark, but it might just grow on you. It really is gorgeous! Hope you love yours!

The color is a lot darker than I kind of pictured in my head...But still GORGEOUS color... It looks like black but has purple sheen to it...Interesting.

I actually don't think it looks black. It is quite dark, but in person you can definitely tell it's purple and not black.

Wow, if I didn't read the title I would have thought its black. Lovely color though, hopefully you can get a pic in the sunlight.

I'm not in love with the color. I was expecting it to look more similar to the one on the LB website. I think I'm returning mine so one of you lucky girls can snatch it up.

~~Happy Birthday, xmelissax!!~~ Your Violet MAM is awesome! I love that it's super dark (it looks almost black, therefore "neutral" and goes with everything), but it's not black, it's VIOLET!! How cool is that?!
