Minkette Fall RAOK Info & Clubhouse

Everything is coming along great everyone and please let me know if there are any questions. Your buddy will be chosen the 1st and emailed to you. I'm so excited that I have already gotten a few gifts for my buddy.

Tater- Please forgive my "lack of knowledge" with this, but do we need to add additional information about ourselves in elfster. I have never been a part of any ROAK b4 or used elfster for that matter, so I am a little lost...Thanks!

Yup, you will need to put in your address so your buddy knows where to send your pressie. Also once the pairs have been made you can ask your buddy questions anonymously through elfster to get some gift idea and overall feel for what they like.

I wish elfster had a lil "about me" box!

This may sound weird, but I almost feel greedy making a wishlist. I would rather just say the sort of things/styles/brands/etc that I am into, ya know?

Plus, it would seem more fun if you didn't know exactly what you were gonna get, yet, you'd still be giving your buddy knowledge of what you''re all about. That way, maybe they could find you something you never even knew existed. Say, you put, "well, I love the color royal blue, I love springtime, parties, eye makeup, roses are my fav flower, blah blah blah," and maybe their buddy would find them an adorable royal blue makeup case with roses all over it, or something. Even though it wasn't on the wishlist, the person is obviously gonna love it.

But I suppose that sort of stuff will be answered when the buddy asks the person questions...so never mind.

Or maybe I'm thinking about this a lil' too hard lol.

This is what I did last time. Within the wish list I just put likes and dislikes as well as a few specific items. There is plenty of room to write more about yourself.

What is also helpful is to search for your buddy's old posts in other forums too. Does she frequent the cooking or pet sub-forums? That can tell you a lot.

RaquelleBelle, I agree with you! We did a wishlist on Elfster for the Coach RAOK (that's why my stuff is still in there) and I felt greedy too. :( I noticed you can write whatever you want in the list so you could just say your favorite colors, brands, etc. there.

Also, we could find a survey and post answers in this thread too. I used some old surveys that my RAOK buddy filled out before to find out some more info on her. :) I felt bad asking her questions on elfster because I felt like she knew what was coming then. :(
