Default Leather Uniformity Issues- Please Read!

Hi Girls,

Recent posts have garnered our attention at Rebecca Minkoff concerning the uniformity of leather panels on our handbags. Natural variations in leather panels do occur, as each Rebecca Minkoff handbag is custom made from the highest quality material, handcrafted especially for each customer. We at Rebecca Minkoff are working diligently to implement and master production standards that ensure consistency, and continue a tradition of handbags fashioned with the utmost care to secure premium quality. Our mission at Rebecca Minkoff is to ensure our customers are enjoying the beauty of each custom bag. If you are unhappy with your purchase, please PM Codi (RM Maven),and we will seek to work out a resolution of the situation.

Best,

Rebecca Minkoff

Thank you for addressing this so we know that we can have any issues fixed if ever one arises from a manufacturing standpoint.
I do have a question, if our RM's were purchased at boutiques a year ago or months back, do you require a receipt or can we just ship our RM bags to you for any issues with leather or hardware?
I have a NIKKI I bought at a boutique in TX last year but of course no longer have tag or receipt but I would love to get an issue with the bottom part of the bag (the leather) stitched up. This was not a manufacturing defect when purchased, I'm sure it's because it is well loved so I wantedto know if I could send it in to RM in the future, just as Louis Vuitton can do repairs on their leather with well loved bags.
Course I'd pay extra if need be.
Would this be possible or since there is no defect, would we just have to send it to our local leather place to have it fixed?

Dallas- you should PM her.. or send a regular email. It might take a a little bit but your should ultimately get a response. I can't speak for certain but I'm fairly confident that they will be able to help you with this matter as I'm pretty sure that other girls were able to send their bags in for repairs (for a fee of course).
Hope you are able to get this fixed.

Rebecca/ Codi-

Thank you for responding to this. I think I can speak for us all when I say we completely understand that the leathers you use have significant variations but having said that we all expect a natural flow of variations on our bags and feel better that someone will be paying a little bit mor attention to the matching of the leathers.

Thank you so much for your atention to this matter!

This is somewhat reassuring, as I am sure many of us have pre-ordered bags that are "final sale" under some e-tailer's policies.
