Is anyone going to the LA Sample Sale from out of town? :)

I live in Northern California and had wanted to hit the LA Sample Sale to go and see everyone and meet Rebecca and of course score some fabulous bags! But, I am a little worried about the selection due to the limited selection of the last couple of online sales and Rebecca's statement that they sold out almost all their inventory at the NYC sale.

So I am debating whether to go or not! Anyone else traveling to the LA Sample Sale?

Well, if by "out of town" you mean not from LA, then yes, I'll be traveling from San Diego, but technically I'm in the area--Southern CA. Hopefully the drive up won't be hell, but I wouldn't miss this for the world!!!

I am still trying to decide if I want to go. Well, that's not exactly true. I definitely want to go, but I'm trying to decide if I want to drive down to LA from Fresno given the gas prices, the not so wonderful gas mileage of my beloved car, and the uncertainty about whether or not there will be anything that I want at the sale.

But, then I would love to meet other RM lovers and meet Rebecca, so I'm a little unsure right now either. Definitely still debating ...

If I lived within driving distance, I would definitely go. I think I'd drive about 3-4 hours to get there...unfortunately, I live nowhere near driving distance...

But I hope you guys find some good stuff if you go!!

I was hoping to hop on a flight down there Fri night, but alas it is not to be - DH is out of town and someone must ferry DD to/from work- ugh

I'm torn with wanting her to finally get her DL (she's 16) - it scares the heck out of me, but since she's been working my social life has sucked!

i live in sf and would LOVE to go to the LA sample sale too! but it is a long drive.... :(

I'm in San Jose and will be driving down tomorrow

Hopefully, there will something on my list!! I made reservations at the nearest hotel, which is travel lodge, since I don't know the area, I didn't want to risk getting lost.

Even if I don't get anything, it will still be fun, and hopefully i'll get to meet RM!!
