to buy my first RM Nikki bag! I am so excited!!

I love brown, I've been looking at other threads and fell in love with Chocolate brown (it's not too dark, not too light, just what I want for a brown-ish bag!), but it's an old color right? Then I noticed there is Brown Bear which looks darker.

Should I wait and look on Ebay to score a good deal on Chocolate? Or just go ahead and buy Brown Bear? Which of the two do you like better?

If you can find Chocolate brand new, I would go for the Chocolate. It will be harder though since as you mentioned its a bit of an older color. Brown bear is a tad darker but I feel like since it is darker it might be easier to match with some things. There are plenty of deals going on in the online boutiques so you might want to check as well as eBay. Of the two colors I personally like the Brown Bear more because I am more of a fan of a darker brown.

The chocolate Nikki is gorgeous!! And you are right about the color, it's saturated but not too dark. It's the PERFECT brown!!It "literally" looks like a bar of chocolate AND the leather is the best RM leather I own, it reminds me of a worn in great quality leather jacket.

If I were you, I wouldn't wait for one to pop up on ebay. First, b/c one may not ever pop up (I looked for a while). Second, you might miss it if you don't look on a consistent basis. I say this b/c my mom and I LOVED a chocoate nikki that was at a boutique and we waited too long to buy it. I looked online but couldn't find anyone that still carried it and I thought we had missed our chance at it.

But then I found it www.stylebop.com. It's not an American website but they are GREAT to work with! The shipping is something like $15 or $25 but that's b/c they take care of all the customs charges and it's like 3 day shipping. I ordered it on a Sunday and received it on Wednesday. Their packaging is great (it came in a box then another smaller study pink Stylebop box) and the bag was perfect!! My mom and I share it now.

So, long story short, GET ONE NOW while they still have it!!!

I don't know about chocolate, but there are a couple of Brown Bears on the *Bay right now.

I'm an RM newbie and my first bag was the MAM in chocolate. (Actually my FIRST bag was a grey nikki) LOOOOOVE it. It's the perfect brown for me and the leather is TDF. I haven't seen brown bear in person so I can't comment on that one. I found my bag on shoprapunzel at an awesome price so if I were you I would stalk the online boutiques for a deal.
