I have a decent sized collection of RM (black cupid, tan nikki, light blue MAB, dark brown/cream MAB, red MAC, various pouches, wallets, etc) that have been my 'daily drivers' for a few years. I love everything about them, but when I recently got a new job (with a big promotion) I wanted to treat myself BIG.

RM didn't seem like enough of a treat, so I hemmed and hawwed (and read lots of tpf!). I bought a Louis Vuitton Neverfull - figuring I love totes, it's a good size, and it's special. When I opened the box...I was disappointed. Not with the LV bag - it was fine - but with the fact that I had to put my Cupid away.

Fast forward a week: the LV bag is being sold, and the Cupid has come out of the dustbag, and I'm happy again.

So, how much do I love my RM bags? More than any other bag I've owned, so much so that I feel a sense of relief and happiness when I switch BACK to them.

Congrats on the promotion! Yeah, RM really knows what women like. Between the MAC, MAB/MAM, Nikki and Cupid at least one of those styles is a womans bag of perfection. I personally am addicted to MAMs and Cupids. Fits all my stuff and looks great. Her leather often varies but I like that. Variety, right?

Agreed, am addicted! I've owned almost all her styles at one point or another (except Cupid - maybe someday). My favorites now are mini MACs, totes like Diamond tote or Nikki's, or MAMs.

When I started collecting bags, I said I'd be content with owning just one style for each brand... not with RM, lol. I couldn't resist the hunt for the rare pieces :)

My favorite RM is the MAM. I just love the color/leather/hw/lining combos. You can really get a special one if you look & be patient. I never wanted to own more than one bag in the same style - always thought it was silly, but 7 MAMs later......I still take them all out & say "ok, which one or 2 or 3 goes?.....Hmmm.....love them all....ok....none!" MAMs are my favorite style. So functional & love my collection so much!

But, yes, the older pieces are just so special. I only own one newer MAM (Plum MAM). Love it so much, but my older MAMs are just so special & unique.

Totally agreed! I love my RMs.... Cant bear to go out without one as well. My current craze is the swing.... Its a brand where I WANT all the colours! They are so special..

I love my RM's as well. Took a long time of hunting to find the rare oldie MABs, and they make me so happy!

I'm with you ladies - it's like an obsession with RM. I started with only one RM in 2008 - a Glazed Espresso MAB that I abused then sold 9 months later then I left RM thinking I would never go back. Fast forward 2011 - I fell in love with the Affair and was drawn back to the world of RM and now 24 RMs later, I still have that Affair AND I am buying old RMs. The old ones are really the best ones.
