Had to have this Glazed Espresso Matinee!!!

So I am coming off of not being able to purchase anything at the Sample Sale. I tried online and walked away empty-handed! So disappointed I perused the eBay listings and saw this bag I had to have. As the search function is currently disabled, I would love to hear from tpfers that have bags in the glazed espresso and even better if you have a similar bag. I have three MAM's and one Steady but this is my first matinee and I am SO EXCITED! I know these are bigger bags but I hope with use they will develop the "smoosh factor" and lose some of it's structure. And do they hold up well, scratches, etc? Oh, and i have never seen a matinee IRL so I would love to hear some great stuff! TIA!

I have a Glazed espresso MAM, this is my fav color! The finish is just gorgeous. Im sure you will love it!

I have this same bag and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! I LOVE that the matinee has so many pockets on the outside - I have used mine almost daily for several months and it looks like new -- the glazed leather (IMO) holds up really well to everyday use and doesn't scratch or scuff easily. I'm sure you will be VERY happy with it!

Haha, I wanted to bid on this bag when it was still at $299.99. I thought I was so clever waiting until the last second, and I was gonna put in my "big money" bid of $325, but as I was about to do that I noticed it shot up to $365, and then to $400! I, too, did not get anything at the sample sale, but I'm very jealous of whoever got the blue matinee with grey suede. That is my dream bag!

Congrtulations on your matinee!! I have one in eggplant and really want the glazed espresso. I am in LOVE with the matinee, it is the most well designed bag I've ever owned. I want my mother and sisters to all have one so I am slowing collecting for x-mas presents!!!!

Th glazed espresso leather is gorgeous and holds up against scratches very well. I love this leather and have it in the MAM style. However- it doesn't have the "smoosh factor" that you mentioned due to the stiffer glazed effect. I'm sure you will love this bag with or without the smoosh factor.

I love the matinee because it fits sooo nicely over my shoulder... and it is smooshy enough so that it isn't bulky under your shoulder, but instead just kind of crunches and fits nicely underneath (KWIM?)

It's a pretty color, but won't really get smooshy as it is one of the stiff, structured leathers like my eggplant matinee. If you want smoosh, get something in saddle, that color smooshes into a puddle.

If I didn't have the glazed almond matinee, I would get the glazed espresso!

I LOVE the structured glazed leather. I'm currently experiencing the "smoosh love" with my new non-glazed MAM, but give me glazed anytime. Especially in the matinee!

the glazed expresso color is TDF!

Because the leather is glazed, it is not smooshy, but im sure it will still soften up with use.

The good thing about the glazed leathers are that they dont need much protection, and don't get scuffed easily!
