Anybody else think that the Bomar's deep red looks exactly like wine? When I get it, I'll post pics, but I swear it looks exactly the same as the wine matinee I had.

Congrats on your purchase! I was thinking the same thing and immediately checked the name of the color and when I found out it wasn't officially "wine" I passed.

well I had a $25 gilt credit plus the free shipping for inviting others so the evergreen nikki was $413. not an amazing deal, but decent. about $70 more than I paid for my last sample sale nikki and that was almost a year ago. I just hope I dont hate the bag like I hated the last one I bought and couldn't return.

It totally looks just like the wine -- and whoever has heard of Bomar's deep red??? Who is Bomar????

It looks really similiar to the wine. I also thought the "marine" looked like the ocean. Only the ocean I believe didn't have tassels because it's a newer color. So confused. Congrats ladies! It's the next best thing to a wine if you missed out on that color.

Its not wine...when you get, you will see that its a totally different skin. The wine is a cow and this is a goat! Its wonderful and pretty but it ain't the wine we took preorders on!

I think the bag is still pretty in that Bomar red and thought about getting it myself!

I'm glad I got the Mini Nikki...I was debating the fuschi Nikki at LB, but this will satisfy my current nikki craving and saves me $300 for one of the new colors posted today in the other thread!

I got a Dusty Market. My first RM! Yay!

It's weird, but every time I look at a MAM, and try to decide on a color, it's like I'm not quite sure or I can't quite commit. (Maybe I'm just not a MAM girl?) But the last several weeks I kept coming back to the Market in Dusty over and over again. And the Gilt price wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either... about 30% off the REAL retail price. I just hope the bag is in good condition when it arrives... I'm kinda nervous about all the Gilt horror stories I've heard!

Yeah, haute okole, the Bomar's Deep Red looks eerily similar to the Wine. When I first saw it on Gilt, I seriously gasped because I thought it was the Wine.

Just wondering... even if it's a different skin (from a different animal), couldn't it still be the same color? (Since it has to be dyed?) Or am I just talking nonsense?
