First real life RM Sighting! Was it you?

YESTERDAY - Thursday 10/09/08
OMG!
I SAW A GIRL AT LA FIDM walking inside the ANNEX!
with a sea green MAM!!!!
I was so amazed.
Seriously, it's a big deal to spot a RM here in LA!

I hardly ever see MAMs in LA either. But then, I'm chained to a desk all day and a homebody all other times (or at the mall

My two sightings were, last spring, a fashionable young lady carrying a dark grey or navy MAM at Fashion Square Sherman Oaks Macy's shoe department. I chased after her (!) and asked her if that was the MAB and was surprised to realize she had a MAM and how big it was. And thus began my painful fascination with the navy...

The second was, I think, a Nikki crossing Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills (right in front of Anastasia salon). I love Bedford Dr. -- I've seen a Prada Fairy there and a white LV Fabuleux! (

goes thumpa-thumpa).

I have yet to see anyone in my area carrying RM. All I see is monograms-LV, Fendi, Coach, Gucci....you name it.

This makes me super happy...........nobody else has my bag!

yesterday i saw the most GORGEOUS rm on a girl walking out of starbucks. it was one of those blue MABS with the basketweave. it was stunning, needless to say

SIGHTING:

Me and my SO were walking down 5th Street in Philadelphia and I passed by a girl wearing an OCEAN MAB (maybe MAM?) with Gold Crackle bottom. She was medium hight and had brown hair pullback in a ponytail I believe..but I could be wrong.

I was wearing my Glazed Espresso MAM too but I'm not sure if she noticed my bag..

Was it a tpfer??

I was at a Bed Bath & Beyond in Queens, NY and spotted a girl with an eggplant suede blind date clutch! It's prettier IRL than in photos. We were both trying out the massage chairs and I was wearing my eggplant MAM but not sure if she noticed or if she was a TPFer!

It was on the Metro around Chinatown DC.

I spotted my first RM on Market Street in San Francisco. It's a big deal, cause as long as I've been into RM I've never see one in SF. I mostly see LV, lots of Coach, and a fair amount of Gucci. It was some sort of purple and metallic steady, very cute, very well-loved. I didn't get a chance to stop her, we were passing in opposite directions, but I was tickled to see her. I hope she's a TPFer!

I was in Anthropologie at The Grove LA yesterday, browsing through the sale racks when I heard a girl's voice: "We have the same bag."

I turn around and there's a blond girl with a wine Nikki! We both had it on! I, keeping my cool, asked if she had other Rebecca Minkoff bags. "No."

Ok, I thought to myself, she's not an RM nut, keep cool self... "Where did you get it?" I asked, wondering how a non-RM nut ends up with one when they're only available through hunt-and-seek. "ShopBop.com." I excused my questions by mentioning that I have met RM fans online. That was it, we went our separate ways.

I think I did a good job of keeping cool. I wanted to shout out: "I HAVE FOURTEEN!!!!"

had yet another RM sighting during my lunch break ... a brunette wearing jeans and a 3/4 length blue & white striped button down was carrying a glazed almond mattie in the Century City mall ... gorgeous color

Black nikki with old gold hardware on USC's campus today by the business buildings!!! I was on my bike, on my way to my first final and when I whipped my head around to get a better look I almost rammed into about 4 people! So amid the confusion I didn't look at the girl, just the bag. She had brown hair and was somewhat short. It looked GREAT on her!!! so classic and clean

Back in May I saw a Blonde girl w/ her boyfriend at Logan Airport with a yellow and silver mam with the newer hardware. She was on the same plane as me heading to Milwaukee. That was my first sighting ever. I live in Boston and have yet to see any other ones. I had my mam in elephant with me.
