This thread can be the place where we all can list our hopes and dreams for future RM collections. I've been reading through all the different threads and posts and I think it would be great to have them all in one spot. Hopefully, Rebecca Minkoff herself will mosey on over to this thread and get it straight from the horse's mouth, and grant some of our wishes by announcing, "Due to popular demand, I've decided to..."
![]() This thread can serve as a place to list all the things you love about the bags in current or past collections and wouldn't change a thing, things you might change for future collections, colors you'd love to see more of... things of that nature. We all love Rebecca Minkoff, and I hope she's reading! |

I'll start.
![]() I personally would love to see more bags in Wine, especially the Nikki! I just can't get enough of that gorgeous deep color. (See GUNG's thread dedicated to her Wine Matinee.) A Thread Dedicated To My Baby: Bertha the Wine Matinee <3 ~Look and listen!~ And I am loving the new custom RM logo hardware! It helps that "RM" are also my initials , but they look so luxe and chic! And I think it's safe to say that the square studs of the Resort Collection were not as popular. Replacing the generic lobster clasps and studs was an excellent idea--it makes the bags personal and very "designer."Keep up the good work, Rebecca!!

I do LOVE the custom RM hardware, but only on the matinee I prefer the older hw shape of the rings that attaches the handles to the main body. It is more unique than a simple square...though it's great that the new HW does have "rebecca minkoff" on it.
The HW in general on the past matinees are more subtle (like the zipper pulls for one)...even with the tassels (which I love BTW) and all, and doesn't distract the eye from the gorgeous leather itself. I do still love this season's matinees as I love matinees in general! I just personally prefer the older HW on the style. |

Great idea! I LOVE RM bags and think that as is, they are already some of the most beautiful and nicely-made bags at their price point around. Here is my nitpicky list of what I would like to see more of.
Very soft and smooshy leathers I know most of her bags have this already, which I love. Variety is nice too for those who like a stiffer treated leather. First and foremost, a plea: please, Rebecca, don't do what some other mid end bags have done in changing the leather source. I LOVE the RM leather - it is my favorite thing about the bags. It's perfect! Optional tassels that can be either removed or put on to zipper heads. The way they were on the old bags, the tassels themselves were the zipper pulls. Now the tassels seem to be completely gone and just zipperheads. Both options are nice, but it would be even better to maybe enclose the tassels or make them removable to give more options. Handles. My only real gripe with RM bags is that the handles are not quite as sturdy as I'd like. As I've mentioned, the handles on my basketweave bag have worn through more than I'd expect. Would love to either see some improvements in that area, or an optional shoulder strap to match all the bags (to take some of the wear and pressure off the double handles) or both! But really, I adore almost everything else about RM already! Fun thread. |

I second the optional tassles! I love them, but it would be nice to have the option of removing them!
Really I second everything above!^ |

I love the brass hardware on the older bags. Not too bright like the newer ones. I would LOVE customizable linings. I love the fleur de lis linking on my black/blue stamp mam. it is so luscious and beautiful compared to the newer floral print.

A Nikki with an outside zipped pocket for fast access to keys and cell - do this bag in wine and brown and I'll take both!! I love Nikki, but find the easy outside pockets of the matinee a real plus.

Dear Rebecca,
Please reissue the MA and MAM in WINE leather. That color is perfection itself, havent found anything that comes close. My husband would really appreciate it if you brought this color back, as he is getting tired of coming home from a hard days work to no dinner and a wife still clad in pajamas in front of the computer babbling to herself "WINE MAM" "Wine MAM".... Im ruining my eyes and getting carpal tunnel from my search, so Please Rebecca, I implore you...MORE WINE!!!! Thanks you, Heidi p.s I think I could find Nessie, Bigfoot, the abomnible Snowman, and Jimmy Hoffa before finding a wine MAM right now. :( |

ITA with more wine... MATINEE!
And with the handles part. The rest of my bags are completely spotless and perfect, but the handles are wearing a lot, bending, creasing, etc. They're not sturdy as they used to be. |
