I really really LOVE the deep red. The more i look at it, the more it reminds me of Bal's Rouge Theatre

I love it, too...but it still reminds me so much of the ruby for me to justify buying one...though if I win the lotto I am getting a deep red MAB Luxe, like, yesterday.

the ruby has more pink in it maybe??

i think if i like the mini nikki, the deep red MN may be my next bag

I think so, but *just* a *touch*...very very slight. I also think it's a bit more matte? (RM seems to have a slight shimmer to all of her bags this season).

Looks gorgeous! I am leaving for Boston in about 12 hours and am staying less than a mile from LB! I am so going there Sat. and see all the RMs in person!

^ I think they are pretty much the same color- and like you said, Ruby is pebbled and matte, where the deep red is smooth and glazed. RM said in her interview that a lot of girls asked for lighter bags, so she is using more lightweight/thinner leathers this season, and her bags will be more structured this fall, thus the slight glaze.

I love the ruby leather so much that I think that I would be disappointed with the deep red leather, TBH...though maybe if someone wanted gift me with a deep red MAB Luxe I could get over the disappointment, ahem.
