Per the HP thread over the in the celebrity subforum, apparently her brother was helping her pick up a futon, hence the walking mattress! (and apparently they got a parking ticket....doh!)

Why do the handles on her bags look so much longer than they actually are on the ones we get?
I so wish RM would lengthen them just a little bit.

That is actually one of the main reasons (if not the main reason i believe) that RM made the MAB Luxe. it is designed to have longer handles. RM didn't aesthetically like the look of the longer handles on the MAB/MAM and didn't think it worked on that bag so she made the luxe for girls with the need for longer handles!
