So I tried baby wipes (two different kinds!) on my stone Nikki to try to get the blue transfer mark off. But the mark is still there
![]() First I used Pampers sensitive wipes and nothing happened. Then I tried Wet Ones (from the yellow packaging), and still nothing happened. Sigh. I don't think the mark is that noticeable when I carry it with the way it naturally slouches, but it just worries me that I'll have to be extra careful not to wear dark clothes when I use it. I guess that's just how it is with light color bags...blah. Has anyone gotten transfer marks off before? Please help if you have...TIA!!

shefroggies, I don't see any marks either. Have you tried the Magic Rub eraser? I've heard it works wonders on light-colored bags...

^^ Really? It's right around the exact center of the picture...it's a straight line shape that goes diagonally down. But then, if you guys can't see it, then it must not be as bad as I thought.
I might try the Magic Rub eraser this weekend if it's still bothering me. Thanks for the tip Rachiebabes! |

I wore dark denim with my stone and didn't get any rub off. don't worry i'm sure the magic eraser or some leather cleaner can take care of it! Its not noticeable at all. I had to look like 5 times to see it.

Arm yourself with Qtips, a soft cloth, and a bowl of water. Spray the heads of the Qtips so they are saturated with the spray. Shake off any excess and carefully and gently "swipe" at the pen mark. Alternate between swiping with the hairspray infused Qtips and and wiping clean with a soft cloth that has been dipped in water and wrung out. Let dry completely. At this point you can go over the area with your Magic Eraser if you would like. The stain should either be gone entirely or very faint but in any event, it's appearance ought to have improved drastically. Note: Do not ever "scrub" the leather or be harsh with it. This kind of repair requires patience and a gently, steady hand. It can be done though; just take your time! |

This thread has so many great tips!
I just bought a MAB in marine- kind of a crackly metallic leather. Is appleguard protectant spray ok to use on it? I don't know how to take care of this kind of leather! All my other bags are creamy leather. |

Here's a close up pic: Hehe I circled the mark I think it's a little more noticeable IRL because in the picture it just comes out looking like a slouch shadow...not sure how else to describe it. I haven't tried the Magic Eraser. I'm scared to! The leather is slightly glazed...would the Magic Eraser still be ok to use? I guess if it comes to it, I'm ok with the mark since it's pretty light and small, but if there's a fool-proof solution I would love to know of course.TIA GUNG! |
