^I use my Wet Ones on the exterior and interior of my bag. When using on the interior, swipe gently and quickly and try not to saturate the fabric too much. On the outside of the bag, you can be as liberal as you want! Clean that sucker like you would a dirty dish!

Thanks Gung! This is really helpful. I have been a little afraid of my Stone MAM because I want to keep her looking nice and this info definitely helps.

Gung, do you know what will remove a choclate + saliva stain from my Night Blue MAM, ok I dropped a tiny bit of choclate on the MAM and then DH bless him to make it all better wiped it with a tissue and all purpose cleanser saliva, the choclate has come off but that part looks darker and actually a bit black.
I am not really bothered as its small and does not show that much, but just thought would ask the expert. TIA |

^ Okay, wait a minute.... "All purpose cleanser saliva"!?
Also, did you get the chocolate on the outside leather or the inside lining? |

I am going to assume you just meant chocolate on the leather
(If not, just let me know )Just follow these directions: Make sure there is no extra/excess chocolate Mix a very small amount of lukewarm water with (like a half cup) with about a tablespoon of mild soap. With a clean sponge, gently "dot" at the stain while intermittently gently swishing around. The leather is going to be darker for a bit because it is wet of course. Wipe it clean, and let dry. The stain should be gone. If there is any trace of a stain, powder the stain with baking soda (Arm & Hammer) or a light dusting of cornmeal. That should really take care of it. After that's all said and done, I would suggest lightly conditioning the entire bag. =) |
