Hi TokiliciousJenY - did you use the apple water protectant spray on your fuschia/gold MAB? I just got the same one and want to use something that has already worked for someone else. Thanks!

has anyone use these products on glazed almond or emerald leather? how were the results? i've had my glazed almond MAB almost a year now, and so far no damage but i know i should protect it in case i get caught in rain. and i'm afraid of the emerald getting damaged.

i have coach leather cleaner & conditioner - my sister has used it to clean my coach purse for me, but i finally went & bought it but haven't used it myself.

i've been told about apple guard stuff before - but wanted to find it B&M instead of online.

thanks for starting this thread!

Hi Minkettes. I'm planning to purchase some Apple Care products for my new RMs. After reading most of the thread it seems that the Rain and Stain Repellent and the Apple Leather Care are the two essential items. I was wondering if I should also purchase the Apple Leather Cleaner or if the Repellent and Conditioner are sufficient enough? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

franny~~ imo, the conditioner will provide somewhat of a barrier between dirt and the leather. if your bag gets dirty it should wipe right off w/ a damp cloth. hth!

How often do you spray your bag with rain/stain protector and apply LMB handle protector? I'm planning on using both on my iris/purple lizard MAB

well, probably not as often as i should. i know some girls reapply every time they switch bags.
but the for handles only, i think, should last a long time. no?
maybe someone else will chime in!

this1chick - check back on the ebay craze thread after you posted your question there, someone recommended a good leather repair place if you live near LA.

And yes I believe cobbler is a shoe repair place, and most shoe repair place also repair leather, you can probably look it up from yellowpages to see if there's one near where you live. Normally they should be able to clean the suede also.

I have a matinee I need to clean the suede flaps also but there's no good leather repair/cleaning place near me, I bought the Apple Garde suede cleaner this week and will try to clean it myself, I'll keep you posted to see if it's successful. My matinee flaps are quite nasty, I honestly don't know if I can even get those marks out.

Anyway, I also asked this on the other thread, have you contacted the seller from ebay about the suede flaps? I am a little surprised only because I had purchased a few bags from the same seller before and they were exactly as described. I'm just surprised if they are in such bad condition that she didn't disclose in her listing.

You might want to try a saddle shop. I have had good luck w/ taking both my bags and tack in for cleaning and repairs.
