My obsession with handbags continues. Does anyone else feel like they can not just be happy with one bag? Well I can’t….not yet.

My little handbag story: I have been an LV girl at heart for 6 years. I would buy a bag, decide it was not for me, then sell it and repeat that process over and over. I always felt that LVs were “the” bags for me. But I could not really find the perfect one. Ya know, the all weather, goes with everything all in one bag that did not scream “Hey look at me and my logos!” Don’t get me wrong I love my LV’s but I can not get into Damier, and I am a freak about vachetta. I am so afraid to ruin it or mess it up that I hardly carry those bags with it. During this time I have bought the occasional D&B, Coach, MK or MJ. But was never really happy with those. I then dabbled in Chanel and Hermes, which was way more than my budget could handle. Maybe if I win the lottery, but I do not see that happening in the near future.

Anyways, sorry for my rambling… I have been looking at RM bags for about a year but never took the plunge. The MAB first caught my eye. And that is the bag that is on its way to me as we speak. A black stonewash MAB. I really hope to love this bag. But I have not even gotten that bag yet and already I am looking at getting an MAM and a matinee next. Should I venture and look into a Nikki? I should wait until the MAB arrives first. But this obsession is taking over……and I have no willpower when it comes to these bags.

So anyway I wanted to share, in a long winded way, that I have a MAB on its way and I am so excited to get it. I will post pictures when it arrives but in the meantime...enable me!!!

aw yay! get excited for your MAB! i hope it is the one for you! i would definitely say venture into Nikkis AND mabs! heck, all RM bags! they are a dangerous obsession! welcome to the RM club!

also, do you live in southern VA? I saw your hokie nation location! i am in southern VA for school (about 10 minutes from VA tech)

I always recognized the MAM as a classically styled bag, but it was the Nikki that really hooked me. I am hardly a fan of "hobo" bags, but the Nikki looks lightly structured and oh so stylish to me... I also replaced my LV with an RM!

As RM expands the colors, I will probably get a MAM in the fall. So far the Persimmon is calling me. I want one that really "pops"! Each time you see any of her bags in a new color, it is like looking at something new all over again! I never tire of them so far.

The wine leather is available RIGHT NOW on the RM website. I highly recommend either a wine mam or Nikki.

I couldn't agree more!

The shapes are great, the leather is so much better than a coated canvas, and the colors are all so perfect.

I am now a crazed RM maniac. Good Luck!!

jenn, I am sure you will be thrilled with your MAB -- and RM bags are truly addictive so watch out -- I'm sure you'll soon have more before you know it!!!

Oh, and if you want a matinee, I would suggest that that be next on your list, as it appears that Rebecca will not be making anymore for a while. There is a thread on here somewhere that lists all of the matinees that are still available online, but the supply is dwindling so go get 'em while they last!!!!

Yes I actually live about 15 minutes from Tech but work in Roanoke, if you know where that is.

I was just in Roanoke yesterday! I live in Patrick County so I head all the way to Christiansburg (45 min drive) to go shopping and if I really want to hit a decent mall Roanoke it is. :)
