Default 3Sirens- RM MINI NIKKI NOIR PRE-ORDER TAKEOVER ANYONE???

Hey girls. Sorry in all this frenzy to pre-order and get all the goods before they were gone, I kinda went overboard. I pre-ordered a mini nikki in noir and brown, a MAM in BBW and a stonewash blue nikki. Now I'm having pre-order remorse. SO........ I decided I could do without the mini noir nikki (pre-ordered at 3 sirens)

HOWEVER..... it seems that pre-orders at 3sirens are non-refundable Apparently it says these on their policies page when you pre-order ( I was in a mini frenzy and never noticed). I ordered the mini nikki in brown from LB and they were like if I change my mind to let them know so I figured 3sirens would be the same .

Anywhoo......is there any girl out there who would be interested in a MINI NIKKI in NOIR.....Im thinking if I show 3Sirens someone wanting the bag, I can get my refund and they can still have a buyer.

Did you talk to Amy at 3sirens about possibly applying the down payment for the noir bag on one of the others that you pre-ordered? It's worth a shot and you won't lose any money. It'll just go toward your order.

That's pretty harsh. What's with these small internet places and their non-refundable policies? Don't they know we need to see the bag before we decide if we like it? :) *makes note to self not to order from 3Sirens*

I didnt pre-order all from 3Sirens....OH how i wish i dealt with LB...Amanda there is SUPER nice and when I ordered the mini nikki in brown from her shes the one that said IF i change my mind, I can always let her know....I mean come on...ppl are ordering these without even seeing them....they're BOUND to change their minds....these aren't clearance items that should have a no refund policy....THIS SUCKS

OK, so here's another suggestion. Why not cancel one of the bags that you can cancel (from LB) and order what you want from 3sirens? In other words, cancel the brown mini nikki from LB and have 3sirens change your black nikki to the brown nikki.

I say this at the risk of being flamed but 3sirens is a small boutique. I believe it is only one woman running it, Amy, who I have found to be super nice and more than helpful with my questions and requests. Small boutiques like this can't pre-order tons of bags only to have those orders cancel and risk having them then sit on shelves unsold especially now with the pre-order frenzy going on. Imagine if you are allowed to cancel then other ladies want to cancel and here 3sirens sits with an extra 10 to 15 bags on her shelves that she can't sell or return herself. Even RM doesn't allow cancellations on pre-orders. (like the wine nikki/mam/mab)

I'm sorry for your situation but I think you can resolve it by canceling one bag from LB and having Amy order that bag for you instead of the black that you no longer want. Good luck and I hope it all works out for you in the end.

I think the problem is that Three Sirens has probably preordered a specific bag and cant change that (so I dont know if they'd let her switch colors etc)

The OP just needs to talk to Amy and ask her. I actually pre-ordered a Nikki, got cold feet and asked Amy just today about changing my order to a MAM which she gladly is doing for me. I can understand her policy and sticking to it but I also believe she wants her customers to be happy so is willing to do what she can within her policies. The only way for the OP to know for sure is to ask Amy at 3sirens herself if that's at all possible. It's worth a try. Actually, here's her policy per her site:

Pre-orders and special orders are non-refundable and may not be canceled once the order is placed. However, they may be exchanged according to our exchange policies.

So, the OP can exchange for another bag that she wants.

I understand that it is frustrating that you suddenly have a change of heart and are stuck in this order but I have read in several different places that 3Siren's policy on Pre-ordered bags is exchange/ store credit only and I was also made aware of this when speaking to her.

MOST places unless they are huge businesses have this same policy so I don't think it's fair to come down so hard on 3Sirens. This is a very small home-town boutique with a website. I think she has done a good job in letting people know the policy and it's up to each individual to be sure about an order before they place it or at the very least don't just assume every store has the same policy as LB.

I feel for you but at the same time I don't find this to be the fault of 3sirens.. just a bummer situation all around.

Have you tried to find out if Amy can trade out your preorder? Ask her if she can get any of the other bags you preordered with LB, if she can then cancel that order with LB. Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion everyone and yes this was basically my fault for not reading the policies properly before I purchased....I've talked to Amy who is indeed super helpful and hopefully I hear back about other RM bags available and can then switch
